But really, there's barely ANY assassination, which is a huge disappointment AS THAT IS THE FOCUS OF THE GAME. All story progress seems to basically consist of go here, then go there, kill guards if you get detected. The past two games had you preparing to kill a bigwig in most chapters and then you finally do it and the chapter ends. Here, you just go on glorified fetch quests and do a fun platforming secret area level. Then you do a disappointingly short Altair flashback and the chapter ends. The end result of all of this is that the game feels very small and everything feels like it has low stakes.
I will admit I teared up a little during Altair's death scene though.
