Yeah, well, I often go the paper route myself and it's never easy going, that's for sure. Judging by your SC sprites, the edits seem to be working, especially Yun-Sung. And this is from a guy who does not like edits. I do like when they're highly differentiated from the base material. What are the base sprites for those, anyway?

well i have made a few drawing to sprites not as much as I should I only done two as for the sprite base

Kilik I used Yun  (even franken sprited the arm and just made the Rod from scratch)

Siegfried I used Tarry Bogard I just fixed his arm and add the sword my self

Yun-Sung I used Kim I also just added the sword in all though I edited it form an old sprite i made form scratch

all of this is C VS. SNK sprites

now what I think of it's funny that I noticed this both Kilik and Yun are Chinese, Tarry and Siegfried are blond white guys, Kim and Yun-Sung are both Korean funny how they fit but that's how i can see the similarities also sometimes i work with what the sprites have that looks like it may look like something ells like yun-sung and kims shirt look alike if you can see  the similarity

also the number one thing i do of all things ells is reference form art that really helps XD

Some douche I don't know nabbed my flash drive last week, and I don't think I'll be getting it back. So, no more Mai. Not anytime soon, anyway. It's too bad, too, because I had gotten a good deal done with her as well as an update to the old Kyo sprite. That's it, I guess.

--Maybe I can work on that Chun-li now, or something...

Yet to see a HD Mai sprite I really like. So you know what they say about done right and doing shit yourself. (There are, however, plenty of excellent KOF XII-size Mai sprites).

How 'bout Mileena instead? And you can incorporate what you like about my sprite into your own. Besides, spriting someone like Mileena allows me to draw at my sleaziest. Which is pretty damn sleazy.

Yeah, it's pretty rough. But now at least I know the name of the guy who took it. So I might...unless he deleted all my stuff and replaced it with porn (that is inferior to my own, no doubt).

I was really looking forward to your mai and kyo sprites and now we are all going to have to wait for a long time...  If you don't get it back do you still have a back up on your hard drive or couldn't you use the ones you uploaded and continue from there? Those sprites were just to awesome to just leave behind :)

This is why I love to see progress shots of any sort of art. Your linework is always so spot on that I thought you did the lines first. It always trips me out to see you start with blocks of color. I'm looking forward to the finished product but I hope to see more progress shots whenever you have the time to post them.

Yeah, I'm  a colours man. I wish I could start with lines, but I've been able to do that once with an Asuka sprite.
