Freezeman: Can you post how you were able to extract that data from KOFXII?  I believe I have all of the programs that would be needed for it, but the methods are unknown to me.  I already have the data file ripped from the ISO.

i'm really excited to see data from kof xii extracted so i can actually begin the long process of sprite editing so i can make a sprite sheet for my character. once the method has been discovered i would like to ask for kyo and shen's sprites. thank you

I took a look at the SF2HD files and it so far I've been able to get miscellaneous images such as portraits out of it.
The sprite data is stored in a somewhat obscure way and it may take some time before I have any results.

Just use this quickbms script i made on the big arc file.

This is a simple format after all, so the files that didn't work probably aren't images.

@Freezeman - We got that far already, the question is how to obtain the separate DDS tiles from the sprite files.

i have not had much time to look at the files but they do seem to look close to an xpr2 header you may want to create an xpr2 header and try to extract them with that.
i have been working on some other projects of my own.

I seem to be having problems with the bms script. I'm trying to rip voices from the CS leak, and I keep getting this error:

And so on, but only every 1+fourth file is a wav. In addition, when comparing this to the other extracted voice packs, it looks like I'm missing two wav files between every two that I find, like jn002b and jn007b should be before jn008b, which I guess is what is inside of the giant third file. I've been messing with the bms, but I can't figure out the syntax at all. I'm running this on 32bit XP, if it matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

this is a single set for Dee Jay http://www.sendspace.com/file/2w5ttk al update this one with credits. The full rip pack has credits toward tunglashor and Freezeman.  I posted it here since this would not be posible with out them.

Bases for edits? It should certainyl makes things easier than spriting everything for scract if, for example, you want to make SSF2HD versions of moves only present in other games, like Gouki's Misogi or Ryu's SF3 special kick.

well i mean i can put theses sprites on a base and create smooth animation really good.everybody cuold use fighterfactory but it does take some skill to insert them into a base, make smooth animation, and  properly add the clns and hitboxes to the character, and maybe even coding for projectiles.
