Funny part is that after the tourney finished, DBK got updated and he could actually beat Maxime now. I thought about doing a rematch, but then DBK got updated again with a stun system that Maxime took advantage of. So much for that, then.

I also did some MUGEN tournies in my past. It was all in fun at that time, but it grew into what MightyKombat was getting at about people using strong ass AI's that just rapes anything in it's path.

Speaking of running gags... I know that IMT has been mentioned before here, I do remember when one of their members released those so-called 'MvC' patches for a bunch of characters. I went on the site and posted the video that MooMaster made showcasing how bad these patches are and the next thing I know, I get some jackass getting on my case saying that I should fix the characters if they were broken.

Excuse me, but I just posted the video... Plus, the player should not have to fix the character. The creator should make sure that it's not a total broken ass pile of rhino dung to begin with.

Needless to say... I haven't been back there and don't plan on it anytime soon.

EVen when limitations mean no teams can pick the same competitors, whoever picked Muteki's Sol, Neat's Date or Ildanaf's Moriya first won the whole thing from Day Zero.

IMT banning people for saying any feedback that isn't fellatio towards Great Lord Kong was a running gag too.

One other version not strictly for mugen is for lolcows to go all "THATS IT IM LEAVIN TEH TITNERNET FOREVA brb" and then not a second later begin a long bitchfest on their blog.
