Heres my soul calibur 4 sailors rest stage wip. I still have to remove some grain and add mountains and a lens flare to it.




How I did it.

Well I have the actual stage in 3d format so I rendered out a suitable perspective. I also plan to do more alternative views of this stage. This is how I'll be doing my stages for my project since it suits the overall look as oppose to 2d stages.

Whoa I can literally count the pixels on some of these images! It seems cluttered and ram packed with too much unnecessary stuff. The text is pretty unreadable too.

Okay Guys I Am New To The Mugen Fighter Guild But I Am A Beginner I'm Mugen Character Making And I Go To Make A Character And It Says I Dont Have Any Commands In The Character I Just Want To Know The Code For Making Your Mugen Character Move Left And Right What Is The cmd For That?

Theres a help section but I'll answer this, if you have no commands then your not using any template I'm guessing. The way you should start is by using a temp preferably the kung fu man's file and simply overwrite all of his existing sprites with your own that way you'll have all the required sprites and no command problems like no walk left and right. Unless you prefer to start from scratch like me lol (inadvisable.)

damn, it's like 90% negative feedback here? I really have to try your stuff for myself, and I will not be in any way biased since I don't know you and I don't know those guys either. I will test your characters and coding and give you a 100% honest answer so far the actual screen pack looks good as for the characters involved well my views are mixed.

-I can see you have that ryuken dude in this project? Well theres my first problem since that character is a piece of shit to be frank. Literally a waste of pixels and bad coding. Probably thee most broken character I have seen since muteki's guilty gear bunch who are just laughable. I won't go into the likes of chuck norris of blatantly cheap broken ones.

-I don't know much about the other SF characters you have involved but since they belong to other creators or so I have read here you should ask permission if you havent already. If so then I dont see the big deal about using them as a base and adding your own spice to them. That would be pretty cool rather then putting them in as they are. Maybe you already done this but just saying  :sugoi:

You got a lot of haters saying most of this stuff was created by other mugen creators. Ill give you the benefit of the doubt and say that so far I for one find this project interesting. Maybe you can make it differ a little more to ssf4 so it has some kind originality to it that will stand out from the rest of the ssf4 projects. But so far the screenpack looks pretty good and environments.
    

Xi yun chan and gameplay

My second post This time focussing on the character I've recently updated Xi yun chan or in english custom yun-chan xi.
The fighting style she uses is a fusion of baguazheng, wushu and kyouki dou (way of madness). Initially xi yun chan attacks are chainsaw based but she can use her legs just as well as her chainsaw ability. She has a number of weapons, her main one being her chainsaw, secondary she has huge nails embedded into her exposed forearm, third shes armed with a concealed Mac10.





A bit about the game play in this project

Combo system
------------
The combo system is a lot more free then street fighters style as there are no specific links to follow, you control 100% of the actions. Although every character has some kind of combo instigator that will launch your opponent off the ground, after that you are free to try to link whatever you like. So like I said there are "no set combos" my friends and myself are learning new combos pretty much daily.



Character playability
------------------------

Much like Tekken and street fighter some of my characters are designed to be used by PRO players and require considerable amount of learning to master. For example tsumiko. Tsumiko is a lot weaker then most other characters and takes more damage. However when mastered tsumiko can be a wrecking ball capable of beating the most toughest mugen A.Is from reasonable to Unreasonable AI. characters like dragonclaw evil ryu, ryuuken. A-ko shin akuma. (NOT TRASH LIKE CHUCK NORRIS) I'll post a video of me doing it skilfully.

Common/ unguardables
-------------
Some characters can perform guard pushes
all characters can perform a combo escape that will cut the damage in half. But if timed accurately will take no damage
Every character has an unguardable attack that requires a few frames to land. Once landed it will take a large amount of health. However some have unguardable moves that are within short frame rates such as tsumiko and unit mdk.

Ground n Pound
-----------------

Every character has an attack you can use to beat the f*ck out of your opponent when their down.

Ukemi the art of rolling
---------------------------
characters can all roll backwards, forwards, attack on get up or simply just get up.

Last resort
-----------------
When a character is near the brink of death they can unleash an attack out of desperation.

Instant Death
-----------------
Some characters can perform an instant death move, such as xi yun chan's "death on the battlefield".  She requires a considerably long amount out time to rev up the chainsaw to maximum velocity. Most instant death attacks are punishable if timed wrong.
