Hello there pals, searching on youtube a good tutorial to create sprites from zero, I run afoul this program to create sprites so i decided to try it out I got the trial free version searching on google, but when I try to run the exe file it says "do you want add this on your archive?" I click yes but nothing's happened. The program looks a safe file but i don't know if it was a real freeware. Did anyone already try this tool? Is it for free?Is it safe?
demongorne said, May 08, 2020, 11:09:48 amWait I got the trial version and it says it were for freeI didn't tried yet.But I heard it's just a demo. And a lot of limitations.Cannot save perhaps.
Is the trial version file for free? I mean i didn't made any registration and there wasn't even linceses to use the the program just i started the exe file and nothing happened. So I dumped the whole file.
Aseprite's license is $15, which is ridiculously cheap for probably the best spriting tool. That's the price of a Big Mac menu in Switzerland, by the way... so don't be lame and pay for the real thing
You are talking about the linceses version with full options but i said i downloded the free trial version that doesn't work even so i don't think i have to pay nothing.
https://www.aseprite.org/trial/You are correct, a trail version does exist. Though, it looks like you cannot save with it, thus meaning it's only good for playing around with it's interface, and seeing if you like it.I have no idea where you downloaded your trail version, but if that doesn't work.... then welpers, you're out of luck.
It's somewhat free.If you compile it from source. There is a strep by step guide to compile it at: https://github.com/aseprite/aseprite/blob/master/INSTALL.mdBut if you can not run the file maybe is because your PC is not compatible with it.
