Welcome to...Deluxe's Character Workshop!This is where you can see what I am currently working on, being a character or an edit. I show the character if it is around 30%-50% finished (meaning it is complete enough to be shown here but is still unfinished), and I mention what is finished and what has yet to be done. The characters will be shown here via images.Usually, only one character will be shown here, though sometimes I might show more characters, depending on what I'm currently working on. Progress update on the following character. He's nearly finished!Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyNeo Sonic:- All attacks had their sounds changed when Sonic hits them and if the opponent guards it- Final Force has been buffed- Hard version of Thunder Uppercut no longer juggles the opponent if they're on the ground- One winpose has been updated; instead of saying "It's cool!", Sonic now says "Alright!". This also shortends it's duration- Fixed misattributions of Final Force, the Knuckles assist and Spin Dash
The edit of Neo Sonic ended up being removed from the workshop as he was released.Because of this, I'm now focusing on the following character:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- He has received a new special named Star Uppercut, where he will uppercut the opponent with a star.- His star generating animation now has hitboxes to make them combo from normals easier, although the charging animation deals no damage.
Progress update on the following character:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- Star Uppercut has received an aerial version.- Star Smash has been added as a special.- All of his other specials and hypers have been considered. They have yet to be implemented, though.
Progress update on the following character:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- Two new specials were added - Falling Star and Fireball.- Because of this, only one more special will be added. After that, I'll move to hypers.
Progress on the following character is doing pretty well. Now I'll be moving onto creating hypers for him. I might also add missing basic animations so that they could work correctly:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- One more special has been added - Star Thrust.- Bouncing Stars have been added as a hyper.
Although it may seem that not much has progressed, more progress was made:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- All basic animations have been finally implemented, including running and the rest of hurt animations.
After probably an hour of work, more progress has been made!Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- 3 hypers have been implemented - Star Smasher, Giant Star Drop and Star Ground Crash.- As a result, only two more are left and I'll be able to move onto the rest of missing stuff!
More progress, though not that much this time:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- Victory quotes were added.- Victory portrait has been implemented.- The main portrait has been fixed; one colour was missing from the palette, causing the shading to be inaccurate.
Progress update:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- Dodge, roll dodge and Power Charge have been added.- The hyper portrait has been finally implemented.- As for the remaining two hypers, they have not been implemented yet. But once I implement them, I'll be adding the missing stuff.
More progress! The following character is almost finished:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- Added two remaining hypers - Burning Star and Bomb Toss- Because of this, only the taunt, intros, winposes and palettes have yet to be implemented and then he will be ready for the release once they're added!
Even more progress, this time something needed has been implemeneted!Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYumetaro (V2)- Added intros, one more winpose, and palettes- Because of this, Yumetaro is now finished! He'll be released tomorrow.
As I said, progress this time is going slower, but still well. And as I'm writing this, progress has been made!Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyRoy- Added aerial normals. As a result, almost all of his normals are finished (only the throw is left).
Progress update:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyRoy- Counter has been added as a special.- Dizzy animation has been added.- Hyper portrait has been added.
Slight progress update:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyRoy- The throw has been added (yesterday in fact!)- Power Charge has been added. Note that it uses the sprites from Flare Blade, but its unique sprites will be made eventually, so don't worry.
Another slight progress update:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyRoy- Power Charge has received its unique sprites.- Charging Slash has been added as a hyper.- Frozen animations added.
More progress!Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyRoy- Losing animation, winposes, the second intro and the taunt have been added.- Blazer and Reverse Blazer have been added as specials.
The following character is almost finished. Just a few more stuff remaining and he's ready for release!Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyRoy- The remaining special and hypers were added. These are Dragon Killer as a special, as well as Lower Stabs and Triple Crouch Slash as hypers.
