OFFICIAL THREAD ABOUT BASARA-KUN'S CLAYFIGHTER FULLGAME

Yeah, I finally decided to make a thread of this, so this will be dedicated to this possible fullgame. And yes, I didn't post it wrong, this thread belongs to the Idea Engineering as the planning thread to discuss everything related to this, so don't assume this is official yet.
Now it's official, so I move this to Projects as a real fullgame to be done for your MUGEN ;)

-CF63 1/3 stages by Xandegraf (he made 2 of them and are usable not sure to use them, maybe I've to remake them)

I'll use music and OST from all games until now. These are the ones I'll use:
-CF1, CFTE and CF2 music files from SNES CF stages by Cenobite53
-CF63 1/3 OST from Video Game Music as well from other CF games I need

Fullgame intro and character endings by Basara-kun (nothing yet, but I learned a lot from this release of mine (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/clayfighter-2-endings-pack-released-194400.0.html), so eventually will be made)

Octohead preview shown as a "what if" of the cancelled 2016 Clayfighter game... and maybe that's how will see this fullgame if it's like in my head :P



That's all for now. As I said before, this will be a brainstorming thread more than an official fullgame thread, so every idea will be received to create something more Interplay-worthy. I hope you like this and any help with any of the stuff mentioned here is welcome ;)

A better version of Super ClayFighter was something I really wanted to see. Definitely keeping tabs on this.

On a side note though, would it take a while to edit the Joey Faust CF characters to match your style? They got most of the basics, though need more 'normalized' damage output, and need to iron out the remaining TFGAF stuff like that one weird flashing screen at the bottom when they get to a level 3. And ofc Claytalities.

I got a couple of his chars (Sumo Santa and Taffy) and I say they're good conversions overall, but yeah, I'll fix the exaggerated damage (even lvl1 supers make almost the half of lifebar!!) and of course will be added the combo system (Insane Combos included) and their official claytalities (except one for Taffy which can't be done for MUGEN). But yeah, my plans are converting some of them into my style, and I don't think would be too difficult to do it, I'll experiment with some of them

He probably might have not gotten to him yet so thats why hes probably not on the list, im sure he will try and do all of them.

Yeah, I was thinking in that too. And yeah, I left out Houngan mostly because I don't like the character... but maybe I should add it anyway to the fullgame (probably editing Joey's version). And there're other characters I didn't include that probably I should do: Zappa Yow Yow Boyz, Googoo and Kangoo.

Yeah, maybe I should include these 4, plus leave out CF1 Ickybod (5 hidden chars instead of 6) and the count would be 30. Not a bad number I guess...

true, most if not all of N.Boss's attacks are copied projectiles from other characters (Frosty's Ice Fist, Bonker's pies, and Blue Suede Goo's music notes), his only other attack was a grab move. Might be best to leave him out since he doesn't offer much.

Hi guys, I can't tell you right now since it's still in development, but I'm editing the first of Joey Faust chars to be made as my standards. If this works, maybe I can start for real with this project, so stay tuned ;)

Well, maybe you didn't notice it, but last week I made my own version of Xandegraf's Super ClayFighter (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/super-clayfighter-its-basarakun-friends-194823.0.html). Take it as a possible preview for my fullgame, as said before, one step closer to make this a reality.

Now I'm gonna heavily edit one of Joey Faust chars (not Ickybod Clay by now) to see if now that idea works or definitely I'm gonna make his chars from scratch, wish me luck ;)

A question what would the full game be called? i mean I tried doing it and called it clay fighter extreme like that planned PlayStation 1 port

I don't know, I was thinking in that too. CF Extreme was one of the names I thought, but would fit better for a 63 1/3 & Sculptor's Cut fullgame, but since this also include fighters from C1 and C2 wouldn't sound well. Maybe in the way I can give it a good name but by now I'm still working on making this a real fullgame and not another Idea Engineering thread

I feel like "ClayFighter Generations" may have been a good fitting name....or if you want to go in the "Mortal Kombat" route, you can also name it "ClayFighter Trilogy" or something along the lines anyway.

Those names sound well, especially the "Infinite Clayfare". I'll think about it...

I made a poll in the WIP thread (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/clayfighter-63-13-comes-mugen-whos-next-what-claypoll-p-114826.300.html) so you can vote there for what should I do next. I'm gonna experiment with storyboards (mostly intros), maybe for the screenpack I'd do for this fullgame (if I learn how to make a proper screenpack, of course)

Oh, these ideas give me more ideas to revive the Anti-Gouki Project... oh, the memories...

A little update on my possible project:
-Working on Lockjaw Pooch and High Five (for the Arrange ver.), if I can get them, I can release both at the same time, I hope so in the next months (not enough advance to post it in my CF WIP thread)
-Updating Sumo Santa (making him more complete) as well most of my chars to add them the Knock Off Top Half and Squeeze claytalities on them, working on that right now
-I'm back with my lifebars, getting back to fonts and other stuff and making it mostly for 1.0 instead of the original version for WinM, also seeing how to modify the default screenpack to make mine
-Since the idea I got is with 3 columns in the select screen, I changed from 22 to 21 the selectable characters, with one of them becoming a secret char, you can see the update in the first post

As you see, nothing of this is important right now, but as alays, I want to get this recorded so I can make them in a future :P

Updated the first post with the planned list of stages used for my fullgame, which will belong from all games. Of course all SNES games have their stages done (all by Cenobite53), as well the stages by Xandegraf (Houngan's and T-Hoppy), so all the others I'll try to make them by myself by using modified screenshots to make them MUGEN stages.

And, starting to work on the screenpack and remaking the lifebars for 1.0, I realized that the 1.0 system is totally different to WinM, so I'd have to make them from scratch again, wish me luck to make that, probably will be tougher than make the full CF roster IMO u_u

Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to inform you that the first CF stages by me have been made (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/clayfighter-63-13-stages-the-aquadome-and-candy-factory-195862.0.html), so this is closer to be a proper fullgame WIP. I hope to get you more news very soon ;)

Today I decided to focus all my energy and time to work on the screenpack and finally I can show you part of my work on it, this is my very first SP I made for MUGEN and I think I finally got it. It's still on works, but I made good part of what I wanted to do.

And with the screenpack on works, now I can say this project is no more part of Idea Engineering and now I can consider it as a real project of mine. Saying this, I move this to Projects with the Fullgame brand, because now this deserves it :buttrox:

Oh this is nice, also the name is intresting since i  its a refrence to call of duty infinite warfare which clayfighter tried to parody once in their cancelled DS game called "Call of putty"

Indeed, that's why one of the reasons I prefer to use that name, and it looks great on the shots :8):

And well, since now it's part of Projects, I'll make my advances of chars from my CF thread (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/clayfighter-63-13-comes-mugen-you-must-defeat-tu-shou-stand-chance-114826.0.html) only there instead of here, just leaving this for the general projects and related stuff: screenpack, lifebars and stages. And about the latter...

I finished Kiln's Laboratory and also got shots to make Tribal Tower and Boogerhenge stages, when O got them ready, I'll release the 3 of them and I'll update the release thread (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/clayfighter-63-13-stages-the-aquadome-and-candy-factory-195862.0.html) to make it the oficial one instead to make a lot of them everytime I made a new stage for the game. Also, seeing if I remake the Xandegraf stages into my way (Happy Harry's Hut and Camp Claynaveral), since I don't get enough satisfied with them, that will be seen
