Watched it. It finally tied some ends for the oes of us that are not familiar with the novels. Considering that kara is my favorite type moon work I have high hopes for 428 shibuya whatever CANAAN since it seems to be similar.

Also, umineko has been pretty damn good.

Wow.. down one notch in my book.  Guess it fits their name though... still facepalm-inducing that the same people that worked on Desert Punk, Hellsing and Basilisk would delve into this...
Gonzo's version of Hellsing is shit, Sunabouzou is average, Basilisk is great.
The only good (And I mean REALLY GOOD) Gonzo anime is Gankutsuou.

Last Exile was good, yeah.
FMP was both good and bad. Kyoani had to fix tons of Gonzo fuck ups, but hey, at least Gonzo had the initiative to start the first season.
Samurai 7 was average as well, but not GONZO BAD as their latest work (Honestly, they screwed up Kurogane no Linebarrels)

Yeah, I was very disappointed by Samurai 7.
Trinity Blood, while not being bad at all (some musics are awesome, the story is so-so but the general design is great), was lacking something.
I haven't watched much of Chrno Crusade, but it seemed quite good.

Gate Keepers and FF Unlimited are a pile of crap IMO.
I also remember the 1st Gonzo animes I've watched, which I considered very nice at the time, mostly because they were the 1st ones to use a lot of 3D, but which I consider now quite average : Blue Submarine No. 6 and Vandread.

So who's gonna watch the new season of Hajime no Ippo? This is the only new anime of 2009 which is technically old as hell that is gonna be worth watching.

Hell yeah I'm watchin Ippo, but I need to catch up with the series because I stopped at episode 30 because I was busy with stuff.

Speaking of GONZO, don't forget Seto no Hanayome, it's also good. And I've been reading that GONZO might start making hentai to prevent going out of bussiness (well with their latest patsu anime they aren't too far away from that).

GONZO END, stupid, unfulfilling and ugh...awful ending.
Surprisingly enough everything but the ending is fine.

And I sorta liked FF:U, maybe those are nostalgia goggles.

Here's hoping they bring back Rezo though, since the last chapter of the Revolution manga hinted that.
