You can't understand something pretty simple when it's explained in details to you. Yeah, that sounds like it's about it. It could be anything else, a comic, a movie, a novel, a book on psychology, programming, art, history, if you react like that when people take the time to explain everything to you, that's all there is to it. You are unable to wrap your head about something that requires thinking, you aren't even capable of going "okay, if that's all there is to it, then that's that and so be it." It's called opening your mind, not opening your mouth.
But the actual problem is really you barging in and pissing all over the place.

He constantly acts in a dickish manner whenever someone doesn't like something he likes. I don't like Higurashi. I tried to watch it, I tried to understand it (even spent over a hour reading Wiki articles), but frankly I think it is one of the worst anime series I have ever graced my eyes on with it's piss poor story telling, and I refuse to give it another chance.

IIRC umineko also had a reference to the hitchiker's guide to the galaxy.

I just finished moetan, the last chapter was fun, not only becuase it actually felt more like the first chapter of a second series, but also because it has joe higashi.

Death Note was okay up until L died. I just like Ryuk because he's the closest thing the series has to a bad-ass. Other than that, pretty formulaic and stretched unnecessarily long just because the manga-ka wanted to throw in Buddhist symbolism with the number of chapters.

So, is your doujin ryuk from that crazy doujin that has Light cosplaying as haruhi (because he is God), ryuku as a shinigami from bleach and L as goku (complete with halo) ?

No, Ryuk was from a Crimson Comics doujin in which Misa gets raped by three criminals. Light shows up, throws Death Note pages at them, they see Ryuk, and then they run out into the street in panic and get run over. Later on we find out Light was using the Death Note to plot the whole thing, which is stupid because IIRC the Death Note can't be used in that way.

Yeah, It's been out for a week or so.
I don't know if the scanlation is up to date with the RAWs, but 52 had an awesome cliffhanger.

Still waiting for a new Berserk and Guyver chapter, I feel like it's been years since the last release :(
