I actually get the feeling that there are some in SE that hate how Lightning's being shoved down everyone's throats and are trying to ruin her credibility by dressing her as a slut.

And while Lightning is falling into the depths of becoming the ultimate mary sue in history, SE is trying to simultaneously work on the next big FF game that will outperform FF7's popularity before they even consider an FF7 remake?

reimu and miku are pretty much a safe bet because they are generic enough; saber is the only one she might not get because ti does nto has enough belts.

But I'm not really sure how they are ruining her image...when she barely had any...
Not to mention that this is still mainly 1 out of 100, I think calling her slutty is way off base unless all of her costumes are as risque as this.

And the developers acknowledged the fact the win pose is against her character.
But that's the point of cameos sometimes, it doesn't always NEED to make sense, especially since like FFXIII-2, she has a default outfit that she's always gonna wear, so past pointless whining, it honestly shouldn't matter.

I'm not trying to defend it as it is against her character and the developers have stated it, but when you have 99 other outfits to aim for, the outfit itself will obviously not matter within the storyline at all...it seems absolutely ridiculous(would use the other "R" word, but that's too offensive) to act like this is destroying her character like a single outfit and pose which the developers again have stated is OOC for Cameo purposes suddenly ruin her character and cause this much disproportionate disdain really does make me not regret how much I despise the Final Fantasy fanbase and why I'll never state I'm one ever again...

The fanbase is dead to me.

I never stated you were and I read how you aren't in Final Fantasy anymore nor did I put words in your mouth at all.
I said exactly what I stated from mainly the reactions here and on the Gamefaqs board of LR:XIII.

I mainly said it because it's beginning to piss me off that it's not the games that are deteriorating in my eyes, it's the fanbase becoming a collective of vindictive bastards that will never be satisfied till Square Enix dies.

This is not the first Final Fantasy I've seen people bitch about even the smallest details, but this is honestly the straw that is breaking my mind. It's getting to the point I hate when people even mention the series or say how XV is gonna save Square because I already know whats gonna happen next.

It's mainly pent up frustration and my bad if it came off as an attack, I didn't mean it like that.
