How is it beating a dead horse if all the fans have continuously been crying for it ? Is it just because it's a game you don't like ? People actually want all this.

Beating a LIVE horse, then, whatever. I'm not interested in turning this into a semantics shitshow.

And it's not that I particularly hate FF7; I just see it as the weakest PS1 era FF, which gets all the attention I wish the later two also got.

The only sales figures available bundle in FF7's International re-release to its total, something neither 8 or 9 got. But like I told Byakko, not interested in turning this into a semantics shitshow.

This isn't semantics. You're saying they're giving too much attention to FF7 and they should Frozen it, and other games deserve more. We're saying there's a huge fanbase and it's very vocal and there's no reason not to do it.

Maybe it's because FF8 and FF9 don't look horribly dated and don't have a sequel that ends on a cliff hanger? So no one is clamouring for a sequel/Remake of games that don't need them?

So is this replacing the port they were doing or are they doing both?

Also, i agree with SNT to a degree. FF7 gets far to much attention imo. And while i would prefer an FF8 remake, I'm happy that they're finally doing an remake of their most requested game.

(Now remake FF6 too plz)
