there was an easier way to remove the text?  :o

i will make link mirrors aswell and try keep it alive for as long as possible so it doesn't "die"   :)

Exactly how did you hack the mugen.exe file to delete the string?

Even if you're removing the copyright it would have been NICE if you hadn't tacked your name onto the F1 screen. Tack elecbyte's name back in there please. We may essentially crap all over their engine all the time, but we should make a little more effort to keep them alive than THAT.

at least modify the exe to be able to put the snapshots in a folder called snaps or similar. i made it for me, so in that way the main folder will be cleaner ;)
the "snaps" folder must be created.. mugen will not be able to create it by itself.

I haven't try it but I hope the co-op is still working.
Someone already done this before on both lowres and hires mugen, but it affects the co-op.
They did not alter the F1 screen also.

could be possible that you made the same thing on Linux mugen? (the one that works on xmugen)

because I was searching someone to do it...

I believe you removed the blue screen...  :S

I never realized there was such a problem with the text on the bottom. Granted, some people act like their eyes will bleed if they look at lo-res stuff too long.

In any case the text was too out of the way for me to even wish it wasn't there.

Yeah good luck with that Hex editor. EXE files suck ass.
