So it was about 95 degrees today here in Burlington, NC, but it's still technically spring. So, to celebrate June 1st as an unofficial start of summer, I'm releasing this! I've given Solid Snake a huge update, similar to the one Rorschach recently received. Here's a brief list of what's been updated (spoiler'd since it's pretty huge):

Nice to see one of your most famous characters getting some brand new things and being up-to-date with your latest creations.

Also, who's this Obsydian guy ? The stone/cryo counter part of Byrne, or an EX version for SoM2 ? He looks badass too. :)

Yeah, he's a powered up version of Byrne. Byrne is an angry Anarchist, and basically he learns that the intensity of his powers is controlled by his anger, and this is what happens to him when he allows himself to be consumed by rage. He is faster, has a different moveset and more powerful supers, but also has less health (basically like Shin Akuma). I made him on a whim one day because I wanted to make a "God" or "Shin" type of character for fun, and Obsydian is the result of that.

-The position add on his medium kick looks odd to me(I assume it is posadd)
-has no small portrait(no biggie)
-If you set a mine, then do your Famas super(2qcf+p) then step on your mine. The mine counts in the super's combo count  :o

That's all I found so far. That last one was by complete accident

No small portrait? What? I must have messed something up somewhere because he's supposed to have one.

EDIT: I just downloaded it, and he has a sprite 9000,0, so I have no idea what's up.

The mine thing is if I step on the mine after the 12th hit hits. Not my opponent. Just to clear that up

EDIT: Alright, here's a patch, basically just his .sff for those who already DL'd. I'll replace the link in the first post with the fixed version, so those downloading after this won't need the patch.

There, the video and sound quality suck and it probably recorded some random bg noise from in my room, but that is the bug.

Wow Sean, you're certainly becoming one of the current top Mugen creators. I enjoy your style and flair as Snake and Rorschach are two of your best offerings. Who deserve a permanent fixture in anyone's roster. It's also nice to see that you're keeping with Mugen's updates by refining your creations, like GM and P.o.T.S.

Fantastic Sean. Looking forward to what you have in store next. How about.... the Ninja from Metal Gear Solid??

Really nice update to a great character, he's as enjoyable to play with as ever. A few things:

 - His Game Over music clashes with the stage music, so might want to assert nomusic when he dies.
 - Since he's 1.0 now, how about some winquotes?

Medium Hand Grenade can be chained up to 4 times if performed quick enough, leading to more than 200 damage.
