Title: CVS Styled HD Lifebars [1280x720] v0.5
Post by: Zombiemold on February 13, 2013, 08:22:11 am
Hey guys, long time lurker here. I have been working on a small mugen project for myself, and realized I would need to do my own screenpack and lifebars for it (Couldn't find any others I liked), so this is what I came up with. I figured I should share it, and get any feedback from you guys.

Features:
- Optimized for 1280x720 resolution
- Includes CVS Hit Sparks
- Currently uses non-HD portraits for compatibility

To Do:
- Add optional HD portrait support
- Change timer font size
- Modify main branding design
- Make a textured "Pearl" variant
- Release Screenpack
- Fix the inevitable issues

Since this is technically a beta release, and my first every publicly distributed creation, please give me your feedback. My goal is to have the bar as accurate as possible. I am open to all suggestions.

Pretty cool, if you could remove the Neowave in the timer would be much better. (for me)

- Make them in 640x480
Nuff said.
Since it's not going to just use custom CvS2 ports, maybe try getting something more square-shaped for the ports.

Yeaah, looks like many people know by now, that I'm a CvS2 fan.
Aside from the fact that it uses [1280x720], it's incredibely AWESOME!

I'll definitely get on a low res version. Anyone having any issues with the current version? Anyone playing mugen in HD?

Not too many people play HD as often it causes lag or some people aren't fond of how the screen is zoomed in. I'd like to test them but I'm unable to, they look good, the timer clashes a bit but good job dude, nice to see lurkers come out and contribute as well!

Ah, this is what I wanted to see. I took a second look and yeah, few pixels misaligned. The bars were designed to be pixel perfect, so they slipped right in.
