Title: DOS M.U.G.E.N. closes

Hello there, I need help, I have DOSBox and the version 9X.10.19 of M.U.G.E.N, when versus screen is ready to load, DOSBox closes. Can anybody help me?  :help:

EDIT: Now that I downloaded Basara-kun's modified DOSMUGEN version, it works perfectly. (ya I know this topic wasn't replyed for 30 days  ¬_¬)

Question, which Windows version do you have?? Maybe Win7 has issues with DOSBox (at least in WinXP doesn't make problems)

It could be that you are using characters that are not compatible with that MUGEN version (either too old or too new for mugen 1019).

I maked a character with the old player (PLAYER.def, PLAYER.cmd, PLAYER.cns and PLAYER.air) files, could be that.

Windows XP.


EDIT: DOSMugen will stop loading if I make a match with other character with KFM. KFM vs KFM works fine. That's the problem.

EDIT2: I got DOSMugen 2001.14.04, and it's better than the 01.01.2000 which doesn't have sound.

So the problem are the characters you just added. Try read what the error message shows when mugen closes.

OK, that's a problem. The Elecbyte template always got problems, no matter the version do you have, the best is to use KFM as base, always

Also, I recently uploaded to my website a DOSM version modified by me to work on WinXP I got years ago and I still used until my PC died and I've to move to Win7. Go to my website (http://network.mugenguild.com/basara/) and then go to MUGEN? section
