Now I know it seems pretty damn soon, especially since I just released Lord Ravenous, but that's what happens when you have things on the shelf for so long and have awful confidence. As I work on said confidence, I got a pal template for ya ,as well as a lil' combo thingy. I believe the sprites CS'd originally for DivineWolf's Jill were done by Mr.Infinite, so good stuff to ya'll. Here's the template:

1.2: Nov - 4 - 2019
   - Removed duplicate pal
   - Gave shotgun blast 1 more frame of start up
   - Made shotgun blast hitdef trigger based on animelem (not !time)
   - Added hitspark and hitsounds to flies
   - Fixed Epic intro sounds
   - Added landing sounds to bounce custom state (in char only)

Yeah, I've been really liking what you've done with Ravenous. He feels a lot tighter to control and offers so much in comboability.

You know, between what you've done with Wesker and Ravenous, what Nep Heart has done with Haruhi, and what Infinite is currently doing with Kuando, I hope we see a new trend of re-coding well-sprited but old and/or flawed characters and giving them new life.

Thank you. And yeah, I've had the idea of converting a buncha different characters in my little project/style for years. I just never had the guts to fully do it and realize it until recently.

Patch notes:


1.4: Oct-31-2019
   - Matched meter gain to Lord Ravenous (overall buffed metergain)
   - Fixed bug where p2 couldn't attack after Phantom Dance super
   - Added 1 bar of meter at the start of the round
   - Lvl. 3 NO LONGER damage scaled during combo
   - Nerfed lvl. 3 Damage (326 => 305)
   - Minor hitstun tweaking
   - Fixed a bug when you'd parry a Lvl. 3
   - Removed R/V Act super cancels

I'm looking more and more forward to trying out Ravenous, especially now that I've been playing around with your Wesker.

Also, I looked around and found that NOZ did a very nice small portrait for Ravenous, which I think would go great with yours.

Cool to see someone doing Lord Ravenous some justice, I'm surprised no one tried sooner (as far as I remember). He was one of Ex-Inferis' more interesting works.

I agree, there hasn't really been anything much for him since. I hope it comes out decent at least :p

So, what is a "REVival 2"?

It's basically a sequel to a dumb compilation I made years ago, but now with universal mechanics and made from the ground up. It's a project i've had in mind for years, but never really fully realized until recently thanks to my Wesker release. The full game will be on IKEMEN, but for now i'm doing MUGEN releases to test the waters and build something from (plus to get people to try it without hitting them with a whole ass build, especially since I haven't made a new version since like, 2016 or something).



What mechanics?

It's a 4 button (with 1 button being a dash shortcut and another being a "ACT" button) inspired by many different fighting games like the vs. Series, anime, and more. The "REV" mechanics are:

PLEASE tell me if the link works.

There is actually a solution to bypass fall.defence_up, it's one that I use in all my character for their universal custom hitfall states. I can probably lend you the code if you're interested. The flaw is that if the target doesn't use a helper to buffer commands during custom hitstates, stuff like combo breakers will fail... but then, that wouldn't be on Wesker in this case.

So this would apply to another char or somethin'?



 Yeah, it would apply to P2, it's basically mimicking MUGEN's default hitfall states, but you can ignore P2's fall.defence_up and make it so they can't ignore fall.recover = 0 either, making OTGs work better in general as a result.
