Ehhhhhh not a good enough reason imo, its like never used so i don't think its a big deal that he doesn't have it.
Also yeah that is important XD
In regards to the fireball, i fucked up. I set up removeexplods to avoid buggy fireball stuff, but did so at the beginning of the states, thus ensuring the var(16) was always 0 (which defaults to the Light version). Simply set said varset to the top of the state and its been fixed

Will add, and thats weird, will fix that.

@Project 13
- I have stress tested that to death and that hasn't happened to me. Maybe it has something to do with your common.cns? I think HDBZ and the default Mugen commons are different iirc
- Literally don't see a problem with that, will do
- Already on the to do list XD You can actually see it in his changelog
- Also WIP, thought he was playable enough rn and i could patch A.I in
- Kinda difficult to see but the ki blasts do go different speeds, i assure you
- Fair enough, will do that
- May i ask why? Personally i think CR.LK > LP is significantly more useful

- No i realised i made an error with that, my mistake


As for the last two things, i'll look in to it. Nothing special should trigger in a mirror match though, thats very strange

Been working on this for a while now. I originally intended this as coding practice using as few new sprites as possible, but it developed to be a bit more than that. Thank you to everyone that downloaded his Beta, contributed palletes, etc.

Make no mistake, while the goal was to create a character that felt official, HE IS NOT OFFICIAL!!! An actual Black is currently in development, thread can be found here

MS Paint. I still use that but animating and such using a Tablet and Photoshop is personally proving to be DRASTICALLY easier. I mainly use MS Paint for sprite cleanup now since its simple and does what i need it to do quickly and easily

Last move added! Now to overhaul Frame Data. But while i d that, i have a favour to ask anyone who codes. While i revamp his frame data, make AI and finish up the movelist, i'd appreciate it if anyone has any ideas/submissions for intros/winposes. These are his intros/winpose numbers

Anything within reason will be included if submitted. Just use the Beta version to make them if you choose so. Not required or anything but a submission or two would be lovely. (in general not individually of course)

Anyway, the last move is the last Emo attack.functions similarly to say Freezas counter, or Juris HCB Punch in SFIV, where Black will teleport away if hit with something that isn't a throw. It can be cancelled in to, and is active frame one, making it ideal for reading predictable attacks. The drawback is that the WHOLE MOVE is considered an attack, so if hit with it, you suffer additional counter hit damage, so use it wisely!

Ok, first off
Its been 6 weeks. I am very sorry, i just sorta lost track of time, had a lot on my plate
Second, that doesn't mean Bardock is dead, or that i haven't been working on him at all! In fact, theres a lot of unfinished stuff done for him, and after Black is out and my drawing tablet arrives, progress will get ludicrously faster. That being said, what i've done

Practised coding with Black, but after doing so, realised coding and spriting Bardock simultaneously would take way too long, i will hopefully have found someone by the time he has more stuff. Beta is here

Second, revamping a lot

Was given a lot of feedback for the idle, including some tips, and i've taken them to heart. This thing won't be animated for ages yet,  want to do that last (as suggested by HDBZ Discord members)
Also redoing his old sprites to fit the new one, Stand Turning has been redone, and Dash collision is nearly there

Thirdly, have a lot of WIP stuff. Too early to show, but these include
-All standing normals
-Neutral jump
-Stand to Crouching
-Stand blocking
-Stand get hits
among others

Lastly, another thank you to everyone who submitted palletes, its once again appreciated. Bardock probably won't get a barrage of updates for a little bit yet, but make no mistake He is nowhere near dead, and i intend to get a lot of work done in the coming months. Have a good one

HB made a character overview for anyone looking to test him out without having to dig it up yourself!



And some big changes! When he's released he'll feel a lot different in many ways, this vid is just a taste. Everything in HBs video will still apply but he'll now have some new shit to play with. I'll also include a Movelist in the style of those found in official HDBZ characters (wanted to learn how to make one) within his folder. Though i must be honest, once he's had all my additions applied, and some decent AI, i'm done. I really want to get back to more personal projects (Unfinished stages like Kame House, Snake Way, Ruined Future revamp) Bardock of course, and even a bit of Roshi here and there. Sincere thank you to everyone who downloaded him, coding him has been a lot of fun
