It is still bad, it is not possible to look at the entire stage, only a small painting comes out

this line of code : stage.portrait.scale = 1,1 << is resizing the existing image.
if you want to see the entire stage, you need to make your own image and save it into the stage .sff file, make sure its in group 9000 and index 1
example image below.
Thank you all! I managed to get it to work, I just had to go into the stage.def file on Wordpad and I changed the name of the "spr" name to "HulkSNES-CityStreets_1.1Zoom.sff" to match the name of the stage file "HulkSNES-CityStreets_1.1Zoom.def". I was looking at Majin Kaine's Gambit MUGEN playthrough on YouTube and it looked longer on that stage in his playthrough though. That is it for my thread, take care everyone!

Are you that same guy that says he enjoys watching arcade mode AI battles more than human battles?
Shame we can't vote twice for one character, Kratos all the way.
Or we can just wait for a more stable release. I honestly don't see the reason why this has to be just straight up cancelled.
because every time I try to run ikemen go.exe the window start to freeze and wont do anything. and causes of this problem that you cant resize or scale the life bars. also the screen pack cant even handle the high quality setting of the system.sff or figth.sff cause the Ikemen.exe to freeze up or worse Crash without no warning and log cant read it so Im gonna have to take all these sprite convert over the mugen 1.1 and 1.0

Appreciate the rough around the edges, I'm constantly learning and improving. They take me ages to make, but I've actually got 1 other pop culture WIP in the pipeline which is close to completion.
This is my first character where I haven't drawn the majority of the sprites myself, but I found it equally difficult to make strangely, due to not having much of a reference point.
I actually remember that stage...

Download a fresh copy of MUGEN 1.1, put the stage on it, open mugen.cfg (in the data folder) with notepad, search for "RenderMode", see if it's set to OpenGL, if not, set it. If you get a black screen, use SafeMode = 1 in mugen.cfg. Now test the stage. If you still don't get it to work, then the stage might be corrupted.
He's a little rough around the edges but thank you so much for bringing this guy to life. I grew up on Karate Kid. Now my son loves it and we watch Cobra Kai together.

And speaking of Cobra Kai stages.. I think omega turbo made a really good one with zoom included. I think he’s the author. I got it from here a few months ago

as already everyones knows I'm big fan of cvs2 waru's conversions, I loved your mina, iroha and carol (you could (if possible) upgrade with cvs2 sprites)
but, Goeniko has nothing to do with cvs, some of her moves special, etc, doesn't make sense and it's ugly, I don't know, I just doesn't like her
now about Shimo, she has no cvs2 sprites and doesn't go with cvs2 universo
I love your work, but Goeniko and Shino doesn't make sense
this is not a hate comment, because I like your work, I just don't like the choices of characters
but I know in the end it's all up to you
keep up the good work
I'm sorry, this is just for clarification. Do you mean the MUGEN version or the stage version? And by clean 1.1, do you mean without zoom? I am going to look and see what the OpenGL is as I do not have all of the terms and files for MUGEN completely understood.

I saw several chars transformed into snk I would like to know what technique these guys used to create them awesome Blanka and Honda, did these creators share how they made these characters? or edited? i'm trying to create the nash kof style.
Funny that you mention it.
Honda was made by Thedge, who is a user in these forums, and continues to create KOF Sprites to this day. BLANKA has edited frames from Thedge's Honda.
The closest to a Tutorial Thedge ever posted is THIS:

Pic of the day. The spriting process is revealed!
1 Take the original SF3 sprite
2 Resize to 90% Height 70% Width
3 Adjust proportions, and redraw with new proportions
4 Use funky colors to be able to shade the torso easier
5 Add final colors to the torso + add the lightest shade
5A Do the same with the pants
6 Fix Pants colors
7 Final details added
Team Thedge continues to work hard to make this happen for the community!
