If the player is currently in a falling state, returns 1 if he is currently able to recover, and 0 if he is not currently able to recover. If the player is not currently falling, the output of this trigger is undefined.

Format:
CanRecover
Arguments:
none
Return type:
boolean int (1 or 0)
Error conditions:
none

Returns 0 if the character is in a custom state. Worth remembering if you want the opponent to be able to recover from a ground bounce, wall bounce or whatever else.

At least, that's what my findings showed. Do feel free to expand upon this or completely shoot me down for being wrong :P

Not sure if that's really necessary for such states or not, since it's a custom state, you'll be manually defining whether Player 2 can recover or not and, if they can, when. If you don't want them to be able to recover, you just don't add a Changestate/Selfstate controller, so I don't think the CanRecover trigger is even necessary in situations like these, even if it did return non-zero values when called from a custom state.

It's just that I've seen characters with ChangeStates/SelfStates in custom states with such a trigger, implying they potentially intended for the opponent to be able to recover, but because of that trigger, they can't.
