Any Good Libraries in any lang to load sff files?

Hello!
I'm trying to code a program that loads mugen sprites as a fun test, but i've seen to kinda hit a roadblack. as I can't find any sff libraries that support the latest version of sff and certain compression stuff.

Has anyone come across anything that might help? thx
