Over the last week or so, the Japanese website for Arc System Works has been counting down to a new game announcement.  The latest issue of Japanese Famitsu magazine has information on Arcana Heart 3, which will be coming to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  Is this what they have been counting down to? Seems likely.

The following features have been reported by Andriasang:

New features for the home include HD anime cut-ins during supers, and a "simple mode" that will let beginner players perform combos through a single button press.

Modes of play include Story Mode with full voice, Versus (for offline play), Score Attack, Training, Network (for online battles. It also seems to have full lobbies with spectator ability like Super Street Fighter 4) and Gallery for viewing unlocked movies and illustrations.

Arcana Heart 1 was released in USA. Arcana Heart 2 and Suggoi version wasn't because of these reasons from the Japanese version. And you probably saw these already if you looked at the sprites of Arcana Heart 2 MUGEN characters:

They did.
I watched the stream last night.
It just seems like all that needs to be done are story mode dialogue and shit, the actual gameplay looks like a good port.

Fun fact: When fighting, the area isn't widescreen, but the sidebars on each side display fully animated character status.

Have you been wanting to pre-order a copy of Arcana Heart 3, but waiting for that little piece of information that put it over the top? How does a console exclusive character sound to you?
