Well it's not like this hasn't been done before in Accel  . All they really need to get as far as must-haves are Zabuza, Haku, the 4 Cursed Seal guys, PTS main cast and PTS Sand Shinobi (Gaara mostly.).

Anyway it seems the Naruto fandumb are already concluding that the game will be garbage all from watching a 1 minute video of an alpha demo.

The reason? The ougis (as in hyper moves) are as short as in NS2. Keep in mind that before NS2 the ougis were 10 to 15 second cinematic cutscenes. In NS2 they are as long as normal fighting game hyper moves.

And they're even blaming online mode for the change and actually want online removed.

Of course the yaoi shippers don't count. I personally just think that them being popular just because they're gay is a bit of an insult. If Haku was really a girl it wouldn't make any difference. How they were portrayed in the series was what made them popular.

Sasuke (timeskip) got some changes compared to UNS2.  He now has a new ranged grab and his "Awakening" is now the Susanoo (same goes for Tilt-B).  So far Naruto (timeskip) plays the same.

Apparently (from the vid), there will be some adjustments to the system, even though the whole spamming jutsu stuff still remains (but if there's going to be gameplay changes, nerf Deidara please).  And changing my earlier statement, UNSG isn't a sequel to UNS2 but a "2.5" route in the way of games like Blazblue CS -> Blazblue CS2 and such.

Won't be surprised if Lars returns for this.

This is naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. And from what I know, Lars is not apart of Naruto's Generations. So I'm sure he's not gonna be back in his gay genie outfit.

Haku and Zabuza does seemingly have a relationship for each other in that way....

But you can't say they don't have a point for their whining...

The problem isn't the Ougis being shorter, but losing their omph(to most of the characters) in the process...
Sakura's Ougi is completely weak compared to Naruto's and Sasuke's, and some characters suffer the same problems.

And people are blaming online believe that because of that, they slacked off and rushed it(which, once again, has basis when you compare it to UN3, which everyone states as the most balanced) even though online has it's own hall....

That was the main reason I didn't bother buying the game even when I had the chance. The fact that you can easily substitute spam almost everything past the 3 most BS moves in the game(no guesses on what they are) literally destroys all sense of strategy in the game instantly.

Now I can actually look forward to buying the game again.

I'm glad to hear they're balancing the substitute jutsu, but that's still useless unless they also balance the characters too. I don't want to see the past versions of the characters being weaker than the timeskip versions. Even if that's not accurate to the series.

Now that I went back to read this topic, Haku and Zabuza had fans for many reasons. I thought Zabuza was cool, he was the first real villain and he brought excitement to the show. Haku was cool too, but less exciting, more depth, was a deep character, brought a complex archetype that wasn't really common in mainstream anime, a misguided soul. I was really big into PTS Naruto because of those two. Of course by the time Shippuden rolled around I wasn't really into Naruto anymore.
