2nd W.I.P. "Blood Riot" Akuma

I'm proud to say that I've started on my 2nd WIP, "Blood Riot" Akuma! I have the whole frankenspriting thing down now and expect my 1st wip, "Satsui No Hadou Rugal" to get the same treatment! I still got to create some sprites but, it's not as tedious as I used to do it! I don't have a backstory for him yet but, he will be a fusion of sorts of a DragonballZ character and Street Fighter! Check out this preview of my old sprite sheet and then the new HD one (it was bad of me to save the first one in JPEG!

) Can you tell some of the DBZ moves that I am planning to do? Coming along nicely don't you think?

You'll have to work on that. Plus, the shading of the body differs from his face, so it really looks like frankenstein.

I was currently in the process of shading everything correctly. I just wanted to get some eye candy out there for the world to see. But you can basically see what the concept is going to look like. It's only a rough draft. Be patient there will be some cooler stuff really soon...

That is why it's call a W.I.P. I am open to some criticism but, if you read my post before I said that it's pretty rough just, basic ideas for where I am going with this.

Trust me, I still have a looong way to go and this is not the final result. Relax he'll be true to the SF series.

P.S. Don't think so much of the "Blood Riot" he's not orochi or anything. Just thought that name suited him.

He used genguro's body for the sprite. Needless to say I think you need to work more on the rugal character more than this one. After all you don't want all your hard work to just merely be called "another f*cking ryu/ken/akuma edit" would you?

Trust me on this your akuma/rugal character would get more attention than this.

Don't worry, Satsui No Hadou is my main W.I.P. at the moment and I have a friend that is helping me out with that one as we speak! Like I said be patient, i'll have some new stuff to post for it sooneer than you guys think! I am just doing this one for fun! People seem to be under the impression that I am just going to whip out stuff we've all seen before with maybe 1 or 2 new moves, this is not the case! I'm all about originality and I like to show people (including myself) many new things as possible but, staying true with the original characters. Just doing things in a new way. That's why I am spriting things myself. I hope you guys will like what you see!

Spirit Bomb

I finished this yesterday. I had to draw the torso, body, and arms. What do you guys think?

P.S. As for the other sprites,, THE BODY IS A ROUGH DRAFT!!! I still need to reshade things and get rid of the scar and such! It's just eye candy people! LOTS OF WORK TO DO!
