I don't really like the combat that much. The combat is even more difficult in story mode. Certain fights where you have to survive until the R3 button pops up, are ass. Waiting to be able to transform into a SSJ4 in the Little Goku vs Super Android 17 fight was ridiculous and painful.

Also, they removed a big chunk of the story. Like the Android Saga, they start with Goku/Vegeta vs Android 19 and then they jump to Android 16 vs. Cell(The version of Cell after he adsorbed Android 17). What the f*** is that s***?!? They skipped a crap load of fights.

Since I'm a fan of Dragonball Z, I'm going to force myself to play through the Dragonball Saga and unlock the rest of the characters.

So far, I think the game is ok.

Edit: Just finished the Dragonball Saga and the credits are rolling. What if Saga unlocked.

Is the game worth getting ???  i have BT2 it was good but no competion the last competition I found totally handed my ass 2 me ever since that Im ashamed 2 play the game cause how difficult the controls are...this is why i rather play BUdokai 3..or a fighting game that has depth e.g(all Street Fighter 3's,Marvel Vs Capcom 2,all Kof's especially XI & MI2)

For me, yes the game was worth getting. Mainly becuase I haven't played a DBZ game since Tenkaichi 1.  Check out both pages of IGNs review. Maybe that could help you decide.

I thought the controls were difficult too(Check the first to lines of my previous comment). The learning curve for the combat is very high. For someone who hasn't played a BT game, I'd say it would take them at most 4-5 hours to get used to the controls. Well, that's how long it took me.

Like I have Tenkaichi 2 Im use 2 the controls...just that mastering the controls is the problem! plus I have know way of getting tips.2 get better at this game...so I can beat my arch-nemesis grrrr that bastard

I love this game to death, but I do agree that the story mode fights were a bit retarded with the whole "Wait for R3" thing. If it weren't for those, I'd have been able to go through the game on Hard my first time around. That could be because I've been customizing my controls ever since BT1. I also think they skipped a crapload of fights. I think they should have put them in, along with the other Shadow Dragons. I found quite a few of the DB characters useless (Arale, Chi-Chi & General Blue), but overall, I still think that most of the characters are fun to play around with, trying to master their styles and combos. Another thing I didn't like is the new Potara system. I prefer the one from BT2.

Side Note: Anyone ever find out what L1 does? It used to be the lock on..... Can't find ause for it in BT3.....

Started it tonight.

The gameplay feels really changed.

Like lock-on's abilty. Dashing in after launching your enemy away.

It feels ghost to me. 

Getting used to it so far.

It's alright still fun for the casual DBZ fan.

^ The main song that I listen to in the game is called survive. The other songs are ok.

I wish they could have included the music from the Japanese version though.

In my opinion, the game is excellent.

I don't see why people complain so much about story mode when there's a LOT to do in the game. I've yet to clear all the missions and get all the unlockables, and I've been playing this for months.

I'm very happy with this game, lots of content and never gets boring.

my upper class man's brother..i own everyone else in that game..except him he totally whipped the floor with me...now he can do infinites i give up on tenkaichi 2 and not getting 3...it dont make sense ill never get good as him! Ill just stick to regular fighting games!
