Original Bleach Character

I've always had this idea for an original Bleach character.
And now I've decided that I've got nothing better to do.
I even have a backstory set up and everything 

His name is Onimaru.
He'll be dressed like the typical Bleach captain, so the clothes weren't hard to find.

Most attacks will be with his sword (how unexpected)
and many of his moves will probably deal with blood.

I've made a few sprites already.
I'm studying other Bleach characters to see how they move and attack.

I'm open to attack/special suggestions, as well as any other suggestions.

I may just end up recording the voice myself.

Hm, the way it looks. He looks like he doesn't do very many movement of the body. Like he's of the creepy type (No offense). I think a lot of his moves should be like "...wtf? Was that all you got- BOOM! HEADSHOT!"

First I'll say that you might need to make the stance a bit better(looks a bit choppy if you ask me).
Second thing I'll say is good luck.(I don't have many ideas for attacks right now )

I was thinking about adding another animation to his walking stance so it wouldn't look as choppy.

I tried to fix the standing pose

The GIF looks kind of wierd though.
I'm guessing it's just the GIF maker, the sprites look fine

I've been trying to study Bleach clips and screenshots to get an accurate idea on movement,
but non chibi Bleach characters are less widespread than I thought.

I still need possible attack suggestions as I continue to work on him.

I can't seem to make it as smooth as I would want.
