Leons Requests - Currently requesting nothing

[Leon]

Hey, I'm new to Mugen, and I've got a pretty empty roster at the moment.

I actually downloaded Mugen months back, but I couldnt find anything so I gave up - although I've seen some amazing stuff on YouTube.

Anyway, I've been googling Mugen characters for a while, but I always find incomplete characters or broken links.

So I found this forum today, and I see that you all seem to know what you're doing (lol)

I'm unsure if all of these characters exist, but I'd greatly appreciate any you have.

My email is roadtodawn@googlemail.com

Characters I'm unsure exist:

Dante (Devil May Cry) - I really want this if it does exist
Any Final Fantasy characters (Preferably Squall, Seifer, Zell, Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, Kuja, Zidane, Tidus or Auron)
Any Kingdom Hearts characters (Preferably Leon or Riku)
MvC2 Venom

Characters I'm looking for that definitely exist:

Link of some description (LoZ, preferably OoT)
MvC2 Strider

Its quite a big request, but really I'd appreciate any of these.

Thanks.

List of Requests and Results:

Characters I am still searching for are listed here, fulfilled requests are striked through.

Dante (DMC) - Good version currently inexistant
FFVII Cloud
FFVII Tifa
FFVIII Squall - Dont think a good version exists
Final Fantasy Characters (any others)

MvC2 Strider
MvC2 Venom
Strider Hien

I'm really sorry I just saw the rules thread and realised it says you can't request things that might not exist.

I'll look into those, but any chance anyone has the two that do exist?

[xLostCauzex]

Dante exists, 3d Cloud Exists, Venom and EX venom Exists

[Leon]

Do you have any of them? I've seen a non-3d Cloud, looking around the forum and left a request on the said topic.

If you have the Dante, I'd really like to know where I can find it.

[Orochi Gill]

Dante: www.ascendedmugen.com
Venom: either www.randomselect.piiym.net (XCB) or www.mugenhistory.com (Sludge)
Venom EX: www.randomselect.piiym.net

Don't bother with either Squalls out there. They both suck. There's one that looks like ass, and there's one with like 3 sprites.
Sephiroth, there's one by Gulthor that's online at sephimugen.free.fr, but it's shit. There's a somewhat more balanced edit by Dark Ray, and a One Winged Angel form by ANMC. The last 2 are offline.

Kong made a MvC2 Strider Hiryu. Should be in the releases section.

Sephiroth by Dark Ray and One Winged Angel Sephiroth by ANMC sent. Trust me, you don't want Gulthor's Sephiroth.

Tifa Lockhart by YAMAKICHI: http://www.geocities.jp/yamakichi_do/index.htm

There's another Tifa by Kamui-Uma out there. I've sent that with the two Sephiroths. It's not as good as YAMAKICHI's, but it plays differently. Enjoy.

[DarkwingDuck]

I'll send Squall by Frenchiguy in a bit.

Link by Mike Werewolf- http://mike.mugen.free.fr/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=92

[Orochi Gill]

Oh shit, I forgot about the Link part.

Also, Young Link by Mike (lol coincidence): www.ascendedmugen.com or www.mugenhistory.com (he's at one of them, I know that.)

[Leon]

Thanks for the quick response

Venom and Tifa are great, thanks.

Dante is a bit glitchy, lots of problems with colours and his sword sprite, is this the best one currently out?

The two Sephiroth files sent didnt work, when I opened WinRAR I got 'unexpected end of archive' errors.

Thanks.

I'll look for that Strider download now.

[Leon]

Additional: Just found this topic: http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=76685.0 but the link is broken. Any idea where else I could look?

Dante? Yes.

Redownload the Sephiroths.

[Leon]

Shame bout Dante, I downloaded Strider now but havent tested him yet. The MVC2 characters seem pretty good though usually.

[Leon]

Strider is good, but man is he tough when controlled by AI!

Anyway, my friend just got Mugen, so I'm asking for a couple he wants.

Does anyone have the One Piece character 'Luffy' by someone called Tyler? I've heard its the best one out.

[Leon]

Oh, as well as that I'm looking for a good rip of Ryu from MvC2. Anyone know where the best one is?

[DarkwingDuck]

 Here's a helpful link: http://mugen-wiki.com/site/database:start

Ryu by LimitedMoon from MvC. Not sure if he's from the second though: http://randomselect.piiym.net/ Under "Hosted Creations".

Also, it's a better idea to edit your last post, rather than post again so soon.

[Leon]

OK, thanks a lot!

Found the Ryu I wanted, plus Ken from MvC as well.

I desperately want the Insane Hiryu and Strider Hien characters from this video:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hntJPW_OeuA

If anyone could tell me the author, or better yet where to find them, I'd appreciate it a lot.

[Razer36]

Yeah I would like to hae theos characters to anyone know?

[Hakufu Sonsaku]

Both can be found on www.esnips.com . Just type in the character's name in the file search database. MVC Ken too can be found on that link I just provided.

[Orochi Gill]

MvC Ken: www.randomselect.piiym.net
Insane Hiryu: http://www.club-syndicate.net/v3.2/index.php?action=forum (requires password which is given to registered members I think.

It's best to see if stuff's online before jumping to some site that's very commonly used for warehousing.

[Hakufu Sonsaku]

Indeed, that was the site I was thinking of.
