You might wanna fix the way his legs and feet move, it's possible to see they aren't matched correctly, the legs get shorter all of a sudden.
also looks like the shading ust changes all of a sudden aswell near the legs and feet.

try giving his head some movement in the walking animation as well or at least make his mouth move.

you have a walking animation what about a standing one? you should post that so people can see and give you visual feedback as well.

You might want to color his feet (or are they shoes) dark yellow instead of brown.  And I have a question: Is he an edit of an existing character, or are his sprites 100% made from scratch?

Thats just a base stance. The first animation I made of Maxx actually.  I have a animation based off his "Crouch to stand" animation set that will give him more of a hunched stance look to him.

The brown coloring is the only brown used on him so worst case, a 3 part pallette swap could easily solve that trick. Oh and the base is Hulk, for those not aware..

Wow..I never read any of The Maxx comic books, but I always saw the character and thought he looked awesome.

So far the sprite work is looking great, but can use a bit of tweaking. So far so good though!! Since thats all you really are showing so far, I can't say much..but..good luck man!

No shit the Max... I forgot all about Max Aeon Flux and the Head. This is a very awesome surprise.

Thanks guys and all for the support, i'll be sure to keep you guys updated as more progress unfolds. As I stated before, with Punisher's spriting complete, I figured to find something to dedicate another year + of spriting too. It's gunna be a hell of a milestone but I'll try not to disappoint.

Quick question why does Maxx have hair in the first sprite but not in the others?

Didn't he only have hair in his home world or whatever and then in our world he had no hair. You know when he was chasing giant bunnies and shit back home.

In it he was almost like a classical hero, long flowing hair and tribal insignias.
