I'm saying that the video game developers can't include a real person in a game, and then claim to hold the intellectual rights to that persons likeness and character. EA doesn't own Obama or Palin or McCain, nor do they claim to. If there was ever crossover of EA properties, they couldn't put in any of them as EA characters, because they aren't EA characters. It's the same thing with the Basara characters. They simply aren't Capcom characters.

Took me a little while to understand what you were saying - I was actually tempted to argue.
To clarify for Chosis (whose points I'm more inclined to agree with) what he's saying is that Marvel vs. Capcom is "supposed" to be comprised only of characters that each organization holds the respective rights to - disregard the real person aspect of his argument for now.
What he means to go on to say is that the Basara characters do not fall into that category because they legally cannot be licensed to any organization that would seek to claim them because they are real people.

Why I disagree:
Basara itself is largely fictional

I highly doubt that intellectual rights would all of a sudden play a real role in determing the cast of a "crossover" videogame which is essentially just another videogame. Outside of the fact that Marvel/DIsney is allowing Capcom to use their character's likenesses, I cannot understand where you see any real applicability in your argument here.

When Phoenix tags in X-23, you can see her red life restoring at a rate higher than anyone elses (you can check Haggar's bar to see the difference).

Phoenix is looking much too powerful. There's the life thing that KoopaKoot pointed out, she has some damaging combos, keep away options, and during her shield super she can still build meter.

This is going to be very entertaining.

I can't find a link, but from what I can gather all it is is a bunch of short clips from the last 3 episodes, and about 5 seconds gameplay. Probably not worth getting all worked up over.

The last super she does in at the end of the video is her level 3. They just didn't implement it as a level 3 in the trailer.
