I have a project for you . You know Strides2Glory ? You can make a Strides2Glory X S.H.A.D.E's of Manhattan
Why not ? The first mugen crossover

Yeah, what Titiln said, plus that project is run by Maverik and, well, anyone who's been here for more than a few weeks knows why that's a problem.

If Donny is in the game how will Ruckus do Sweet and Sour?
Wouldnt it be odd if he is fighting Donny and another Donny runs out?
Could it be someone else in Shades 3? A side character you showed once? Or a unused design design?

He'd just get a new DM, most likely.

I actually decided to try the full setup rather than just using the characters in my regular Mugen and I must say I'm impressed.

It certainly holds up well against commercial titles like SFA or CvS which is impressive considering the project is make by a single individual.

Do the games follow like sequels or is Shades 2/3 just the same game with more characters like SFA3 pretty much was?
I rock

It's a sequel, although I wouldn't recommend going back and playing SHADEs 1. The sprites back then were not very good, and I've learned a lot more about coding since then so the gameplay is kind of messy. The intro for SHADEs 1 is on Youtube, and the intro for SHADEs 2 is pretty much all you need to get caught up on the story. The endings from SHADEs 1 would help, and Demonic Kirishima had uploaded a video containing all of the endings but I searched for it recently and it says that it has been removed by the user. I'm in the process of contacting him about reuploading.

Yeah I checked both out earlier and removed the first one.

Bloodtide was completely revamped for the sequel I see.

I'll certainly keep the 2nd one because it is impressive.

I'm liking the designs fo new characters.

Is Dark Nation named after Rufus' dog in Final Fantasy VII?
I rock

I just thought of a new surprise win pose for Ruckus in Shades 3 that is cracking me up!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcSRpcXSQq8
Ok Ruckus will do his old What a Jabroni pose like it was his old win. Then a random voice will yell, Go back to Manhattan! Then Ruckus will  yell back. IM FROM BROOKLYN YOU IDIOT!

Were you planning on returning some other characters as well?  Because if you were I have an idea for Thirteen, at least costume-wise.

When's SSJ4 Moses Maddigan coming out? He sounds like a very challenging character. I especially think that your idea to have all his commands be mapped to one button, including special and supermoves (as well as his Shun Goku Satsu) will greatly balance the game, and will allow for people playing him to feel sufficiently challenged.

How about something like this?

I animated it but I saved it wrong... It was 13 frames of creamy goodness :(

That looks really cool, but I should note that Thirteen wouldn't be in that kind of shape. He's supposed to be pretty scrawny and sickly, like Dhalsim. I'd love to see the animation though.

I think the overall deign is good, but with that kind of muscle, his head just kind of looks slapped on.

That is very cool, but it doesn't suit him, like sean said.  I was thinking more along the lines of him dressed in an institution outfit, like the ones patients wear.  Possibly a broken straitjacket.  Also, his head all bandaged, except for his good eye and shock therapy headgear.

I was under the impression that Thirteen has been on a constant killing streak for 2 straight games.
So his cloths would be torn pretty bad from all of his battles.
What if he had no shirt at all?

Thanks for not totaly rejecting my concept suggestion Sean.
I wish I still had the animation but this is the only frame that saved. I was trying to make it all G Rugal looking.
I am really excited to see how this game tops 2.

Sudden, if he was in a broken straight jakect that would be cool to have those long sleaves hanging from his arms . I never beat Shades 2 so I dont know Thirteens ending.

I like this idea a lot. Having those giant bones suddenly spike out from under the sleeves would certainly look really cool, if nothing else.

Ooh, now that I didn't think of.  That would look supercool coming out of the sleeves.  I can see that now XP
