This is a stage I made for O Ilusionista's "Megaman: Bit of Destiny" project (check the "Projects" section for more details). This is only my second time ever coding a "decent" stage, but I could definitely see myself doing it again. This stage is made with "micro-characters" in mind (classic Megaman, Kirby, or other "platform-game" characters). I hope you guys like it. Thanks guys! I'm already working on the alternate version of the stage that isn't destroyed. I'm even spriting some 8-bit Lickers just for the stage. Whenever it's all done, I'll update my first post and add links to both versions.I was also looking around for an 8-bit theme that might go well with the stage, and I've found some cool stuff made by "MrBulbamike". Turns out the guy made 8-bit variations of the themes to most of the UMvC3 characters. Here's a link to one of his works:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqO8lqMTW1gI'd recommend checking his stuff out. It's actually pretty neat.
try VGmusic.com they have loads of midi files, you could probably get some Resident Evil ones and convert them to sound more NES-like with a program called gashisoft, by using the Famicom type sound set.
hopefully there will be more 8-bit umvc3 stages soon, so this will be even more nostalgic on my watch
I won't make any promises, but I'll see what I can do. I'm also interested in "Demon Village"/"Demon Village Redux", "Bonne Wonderland", as well as Galactus' stage.I can imagine Galatus' stage being the easier of the bunch, so once I'm done with the undamaged version of "Tricell Laboratory", I'll more than likely take a stab at that one.
