15.07.23 : 43 characters done. Secret clones (bunch of Athenas) can be easily found (extrem right or left).
Alice Bogard, Athena Striker & Athena Nurse needed more work (added hypers for the Athenas, gethits for Alice). Alice still remains basic.

I know I'm bumping this thread, I just want to say I downloaded and the beta is pretty cool so far...

And ask if this characters can be coded to be used on another Screenpacks to?
Because I'm liking what I tested and I want to have this like a kind of fullgame and some of the characters to use them with my personal mugen

Also, I got my computer working today and I hope it doesn't stop working.... if that's the case I would like to make a few portraits for this Sp

Common hitsparks, hyper explods are in the fightfx.sff, I've done this to gain a lot of time.
I'm working on something for the characters to be universal. We will see next week.

I'm working on something for the characters to be universal. We will see next week.

60 characters done. And now everyone work with any screenpack.
I'll put a link with all the characters I've edited.
The thing is I'll let people add their own mini/big portraits to the characters since I'm still using custom ones.

I must admit: old version of this compilation was kind of guilty pleasure of mine back in the day.

why not add some other chars in the mix like touhou?
From what I can remember, Reimu, Marisa, Patchouli Knowledge, Meiling, Yuuka (I think) and a few others were made in Neogeo spriting and KOF based format too.
Its nice to see Aya Shameimaru in the mix but having the others wouldn't hurt.

Well, I'm really interested in this, and also more interesting about the custom portraits being editables so I can add and upload a few ones...

Also, a suggestion, you should put the incomplete characters into the secret slots if possible so people can't choose easily those ones that feels "not right" compared to finished ones...

I'm looking forward to this, keeep the good work man!!

there are some old characters that fixing them would be a nice addition, like Y', Iori Bogard and a few others

what kind of method are you using for the select screen? (the roster)

also... big and small portrait in the select screen are a single image or are they a different image?

if they are different images, that's something that would help me to add future updates on their big portraits to give the compilation a more fullgame fele (adding portraits with the same style)

Alphabetic order. Hidden/clone characters left or right
Boss characters 2 lines at the bottom.

you know whatt, probably I can't do all the characters in one day, maybe not even in one week, etc but I was thinking into drawing the Big portrait all with the same style (something a bit like lineart and at the same time maybe "sketchy")

or try to edit them to give them a more similar look...

the thing is... not sure if adding draws to them instead of those edited images would work...

something like this, but with no colors and more charcoal'ish comic'ish

btw that Joe is an interpretation from me based on IronMugen work... I will try the same with all the portraits already done, draw on top of them to maintain their pose, but giving them the same style art to avoid clashing portraits... I will send yyou a PM so we can keep this thread clean

In fact I have put some clone chars in hidden slots. The really beta characters as Karin or others I don't remember are stocked in an "Unnused" folder.

And Flowrellik you're right : found some kof styled touhou chars I didn't know...

Told ya :3. Now one thing that gets me wondering, considering this is mugenbased....perhaps you might find a way to incorporate Add004 in the mix?
Tag battles would be A-ok with this I can promise that + you can have cool effects with it.
