Holy shit, I was just wondering what were they going to do next with Activision. We're like... Pretty close to getting a 90s Power Ranger game if things keep going this way :P

Can't wait to get the game in 2 years :P

There's no "access to beta" tier so maybe they'll give everyone who pledged $30 access to it eventually? That would be sweet.

Shadow Complex is one of my favorite downloadable 360 games and this is a pretty concrete sign that a sequel is coming! I think I'm gonna play this tonight!

WHY DID I MISS THE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS?

Ok, Samurai Jack returns.  Psychonauts return.  Am I hoping for too much for this to be the year of Beyond Good & Evil 2?  I must know what happens to Jade!

HAHAHA...! NO! As much as I liked Psychonauts I'm not touching this with a laser ray.

Spacebase and The Broken Age should've been enough to make you reconsider the idea of giving them money before they finish (Or even start) their product.

You know, I am very hesitant to give money to the project ever since the whole fiasco with that sock-puppet and Gamergate. Really unprofessional of him. Not to mention that I have heard of him constantly fucking up the development of his projects.

As much as I don't like Bobby Kotick, his quote about Tim Schafer is rather spot on:

Quote
The guy comes out and says I'm a prick.
I've never met him in my life – I've never had anything to do with him. I never had any involvement in the Vivendi project that they were doing, Brütal Legend, other than I was in one meeting where the guys looked at it and said, "He's late, he's missed every milestone, he's overspent the budget and it doesn't seem like a good game. We're going to cancel it."
And do you know what? That seemed like a sensible thing to do. And it turns out, he was late, he missed every milestone, the game was not a particularly good game...

As always, I wish for the best for the project, but I have no confidence that it'll make it.
Hug the Pikachus!

regardless of where you stand on gamergate, the way he has handled pretty much every crowdfunded project is the bigger problem

  • 日本は素晴らしい国です。
Broken age was a massive disapointment after all the crowd funding it got.

It goes nowhere, does nothing and ends  without actually ending.  Not to mention that the second part completely reuses the assets from the first part, having no new places whatsoever.

The experience was sub par , and while the graphics and voices were great, it didnt really deliver that much in the way of a narrative.

The puzzles were also kindof weird , but thats nitpicking.
