No were not dead. Just some busy ass adults Lucy will slowly fade away, for those who are curious. It's an easy programming method. Not so much a Sprite issue.
Looking great as always, I only have to question the way his hair is moving as compared to the rest of his outfit. It seems to bend against the wind, resting as far back as it can and then bending forward

With the way it was worded I couldn't help but imagine anything other than Lucy tumbling away like... like....
