Single Sprite commissions only. The only animated commissions I'll be working on are for Koopa901, as part of a collaboration of sorts.

                                                                =============
                                                                  RULES OF THUMB
                                                                =============

1. Payment first, & through PayPal. Message me and I'll give you the email address to send it to.

2. No explicit content (nudity, obscenity, extreme violence, rude or hateful, and anything considerably awkward).

3. Remember to provide references. Picture refs are preferable

4. I'll show you the stages of the commission as we go along, and you can ask for changes to be made while it's being worked on. However, once it's done, any major changes will run you an extra charge.

5. Prices are negotiable. I'm a reasonable person, so when negotiating, be reasonable as well.

6. This is the most important, but make sure payments are sent as an invoice, not as gifts, if you don't want to incur severe money penalties.

7. Depending on how big/detailed the design is, prices can change. You can still negotiate with me anyways. However, there is always a limit to what I can do, so if I tell you its going to be hard, it means its going to be hard. If I say its impossible, then its impossible.

8. All the stuff I make can be used for portfolio related reasons. This is non-negotiable.

9. In regards to small pixel art, I can do any game style you want, be it beat'em up, platformer, RPG, etc., and I can do it from any game. However, you must (and this is very important) tell me the name of the game, or provide me pixel references of any game you want me to do a commission in.

Please do not hesitate to send me a note if you have any inquiries.

What if he just keeps commissioning you? Like he asks for a stance, then wants a crouch, walk, etc

7 frames animation:

1st frame= 10 cad
+ 2nd to 7th frame, (6 frames*2 cad)= 12 cad

Total= 22 cad, not 18 cad, if I get it right.

*You have some grammar mistakes in the 5th point that I believe Alex can help you to solve.

I recommend you to use USD as your currency, it's more popular and it saves the conversion rate. (To be honest I thought CAD was "cada uno" each one in spanish.) [And the USD is going up compared to CAD, so you will end up winning more over time]

I will steal the tutorial for using PayPal from your dA journal :P

There's a big gap between CPS2 style and CVS2 prices, these aren't that different when it comes to technical aspects, these share the same color ammount (16 colors). Even more, CvS is simplier than CPS2, in my opinion, so CPS2 should be the one with the highest rate.

The bigger question I have with CvS is this: was this style ever used in a Marvel vs. Capcom game?

Chamat: Thanks for the advice, changing up everything as we speak, and I only passed one part of that exam. Gotta go back and redo the other 2 parts in October (it's a written test, that comes before the actual driving test).

As for why CPS2/JJBA is cheaper than CvS, it's because it's the opposite for me, I have an easier time w/ CPS2 than CvS. Would rather do more CPS2/JJBA commissions than CvS, but I'll give it some thought.

No1wammy: CvS style was only used in the Capcom vs SNK games.

since you are very open to suggestions mine is to adjust the way you charge for animations, the 2usd per extra sprite is nice, but it might be probably be easier to handle to charge full price for keyframes and 2usd for inbetweens; that way you can get a little more for your animations but "poorer" client will still be able to afford animations even if that means skimping on inbetweens. and you also match the clever guys who are going to ask you to make keyframes only anyway.

Like, uyour example with the standing animation, if it's a normal one, it requires only one keyframe thena bunch of inbetweens , while a more dynamic one or one that transitions to an idleone will require more work. (there are also other technical ad}vantages to this method but you will find out over time).

Officially, aside of the CvS games, only on the PSP version of Street Fighter Zero 3 W:Upper, as far I remember[Yun, Eagle, Maki and Ingrid]

And there was some fangames who put CVS characters in a MvC pattern [Beximus' "Capcom Universe" game]

that face looks extremely odd, so does the abs area. the face doesn't resemble gouki at all and the lower body area just looks way too over-detailed imo

Something also looks off with the front hand. As if it's misplaced relative to the forearm.
