Would be cooler if it was a bit more innovative, but that's just my opinion. And yeah I try to mix the best of both worlds so it can appeal to both styles, since they are quite similar.

I always wondered something, it's something that bothers me a lot while watching these kind of spritesheets: why do you people keep adding the effects on top of the sprites? Can you also show the sprites without the effects?
