Glad to see some update for this game!
Reminds me old days :)

Strange thing, 8bit type music is cool, but it seems to clash with the game graphics.
I had the memory it was less clashing in the previous versions.

But it's really good!!
I like the intro and all.

thanks!
also I wanted to show how powerfull mugen 1.1 is... :)

you are right, its strange thing indeed.
snd-file only supports wave,
so, lower quality, smaller file size :(
open snd-file by FF or mcm, if not clash,
please try to change plugins in "mugen.cfg". :8):

Now I wonder, Perhaps for an update, could there be a way to make your own MARS unit by chance? Seems like in looking at the files here, the parts are piece by piece, which means you know a greatdeal in ragdoll spriting

After playing the main story I got to say this game is certainly a diamond in the rough. A jewel to behold. I don't understand Japanese so I couldn't get the idea of the main story, however the game play made up for this quite a bit. It was actually quite challenging. The aesthetics are great the music choice is spot on. A wonderful piece for my library that I can't wait to try with my friends. Truly a masterpiece that breaks the perceived limits of the MUGEN engine.

Edit: One question. There appears to be assets for a kaomoji cat, Homer Simpson, Kung Fu Man, and Doraemon robot. Is it possible to play with these?

Hey Shiyo! I was wondering where I can find the Japanese Dialogue for the game, so that I could try my hand at translating it. Any chance you could point me in the right direction?

こんにちはカクゲーさん。日本語の場所に見せてください。私はこのゲームを訳したい。

私の日本語はだねです。ごめなさい。

Addendum: @Realra: You can use those mechs if you hit the random mech button enough. Just keep trying if you don't get them at first.

Amazing game! I can't believe this game got such a big update after all these years. I love how big the new mechs appear to be on-screen now, the game looks incredible, and the gameplay is better than ever. I do kind of miss the melee combos, but the new melee compliments the new big and heavier feel to the game.

I have a few questions, though:
1. Are some other mechs going to be playable? You can get some that are not in the character select by using Random, the enemy will sometimes play as these in Arcade, too. Are these just meant to be bosses?

2. Is 2 vs. 2 ever coming back?

3. Can we choose pilot colors? I noticed pilots have more than two different colors if both opponents are the same pilot, but it chooses the colors randomly.

Use power for the right things. At least for the things that you believe in.
