Alright so I was taking a look at Warusaki3's Ingrid cns file (its also in the .def file and all his other characters) and all the comments show up like this:

;Var(30) =    Žg—pÏ‚Ý
;Var(31) = KƒOƒ‹[ƒ”ƒ‰ƒCƒtŽc—Ê‚É‚æ‚éƒpƒ[‘‰Á—Ê•Ï“®
;Var(32) = roundstate3ŽžŠÔŒo‰ß
;Var(33) =
;Var(34) = ‘OƒuƒƒbƒLƒ“ƒO“ü—ÍŒãƒjƒ…[ƒgƒ‰ƒ‹‚É–ß‚µ‚½‚©”Û‚©
;Var(35) = ‰ºƒuƒƒbƒLƒ“ƒO“ü—ÍŒãƒjƒ…[ƒgƒ‰ƒ‹‚É–ß‚µ‚½‚©”Û‚©

Obviously I can't read that nor do I really really need to know what each of those are to change or understand whats going on in the code, but it can be very annoying and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of this or to have the comments show up in the original language which of course for Waru's case is Japanese. Thanks in advance

Download and use Notepad++ to open CNS/text files that are in foreign characters, it innately includes many of them encoded in and definitely gives access to Japanese characters. It's also free.
