Hey all, it's been a while.

Since I came back here, I get warnings from my Bitdefender antivirus all the time.
Is this worth a look?

Here are some screenshots, there are like 10 of the same from the last one.

are you sure these notifications happen when visiting MFG, or could they have been caused by visiting another site?

The notifications seem to point to addresses found in banners or popups, which are not generated by MFG's server.

@:XGargoyle Yes, I am 100% sure it happens when I visit MFG forums.
But I do know Bitdefender can be very sensitive, so users with images hosted on other sites may trigger this.

Kelexo ... that's a user here, no?

Yes, probably as I expected, Bitdefender being whiny over hosted images.

It triggers when I go to https://mugenguild.com/forum/your-releases-older-mugen.309
Where DrKelexo made a post: https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/jolj-knuckle-fighter-188053.0.html

Well, although it's on the user's end, it does trigger a lot on different pages.
Maybe I should see if I can disable these notifications instead.

looks like kelexo's server is serving an incorrect tls certificate.  I removed that link for now. But it is a bit problematic that we are linking to external domains at all for https integrity. might need to do something about that.

that said, bitdefender is being pretty annoying there, browsers just don't display that image so there is no risk there. I guess anti-malware applications are incentivized to have a bit of a false positive rate, to justify their existence.

Yeah, I know, Bitdefender has always been kinda whiny in that regard.
You can't control what user do here unless....

That's a good point you got.
