You can add screenshots in spoilers, if you want. Also, if you've opened a WIP thread for your character in the corresponding place in the forum, you can link to that. No need to go as far as sharing the actual character files. My previous message was meant mostly for people who requested something out of the blue. We're reasonable people...)  ;D

I actually do have a W.I.P thread, but streamable probably got rid of my videos, so my recent post in that thread is useless.

I will try to post screenshots as best as I remotely could. Although it's gonna be a major pain in the ass because I'm using a keyboard the play MUGEN. I only shared the .sff and .act files just for good measure.

Edit: On second thought, this is harder than I thought. The F number keys are mixed with the brightness, volume, and airplane mode.

Edit 2: Well, the keyboard I'm using is a standard layout keyboard. This is gonna be weird.

Edit 3: Okay, so I decided to go yolo and give it a shot, and to my surprise it recorded the footage quite well. I did as much as I could to show everything since I'm using a keyboard, so I obviously missed some stuff.

Since XIII uses wayyy more frames than CvS2 I revised the animation and tried to cut it to 11 frames. Here's the result:

By comparing both spritesets I've come to the conclusion that scaling the sprites down from 100% to 43% would give you a size similar to CvS2 Terry.

Guys - I'm pretty sure someone made a CVS Palette for that XIII Terry set.

If you applied the proper simplified palette before resizing, you'd already have basically 85% of the sprite done.

There's not much of him that's worth showing. I just got the basic movement done. I guess I'll show it to you anyway just because.

Can't help you with jumping one though, but I think you don't even need it, CvS one copies it well enough.

Actually, i think NDSSilva's Smash Bros style Ryu has a jumping kick like that as his dash attack.
That could be used as a good base for a Ken version.

@Trololo You sure about that? CvS Ken's kick is more based on his SF2 and SF3 versions. Here.



@DauntlessMonk7 I'll take a look at it. Once I do find the kick, I'll ask him if I can use it.

Of course, I'm not going to be editing these myself. If I have to commission them then so be it.

Edit: There's something I completely spaced out.

I generally have some mixed feelings with Mwryly's version of Akuma's crouching kick. It looks like a rescale with very simple touch ups. But it could be just me.

Also, I found the kick. Now I have to ask Silva if it's okay.

Update: Got a reply for Silva. He says there's no need to ask, but he gave me this:



All that's left are those crouching kicks, and then we're set.

I'll also be waiting on someone offering to work on Bardock's crouch kicks. I found someone who is willing to help me out if commissioned, but Imma wait it out for good measure.

Hey I made that kick, at least the Ryu base for that. The original image was lost in the shutdown of a public image hosting page. I'm glad somebody save something useful from me at least.

EDIT: Changed my request to something useful for iron mans gameplay.

So i decided to do something a little different as i can try to make the hero landing myself using the sprites i have available to me. Now only 1 frame for the 8 way dash exists and it is this one made by Sky79.

Down Forward and down backward are very similar to forward and backward so just adjust those accordingly to fit their descending variants.
