EDIT: Shiki está ya al 50%. Gethits y básicos están finalizados y eso es lo más pesado qeu pueda tener el sheet. Espero hacerme con screencaps de lo nuevo que tiene en SS 2019...yujuu

¿Cómo hacéis vuestros sprites? Yo utilizo Aseprite pirateado.

Me tomaría dos tazas de Cola Cao hacer sprites como los de Capcom vs SNK. El estilo KoF es más sencillo, ¿no?

Yo con MSPaint y Walt me odia por ello jajajajajaj. También uso Photoshop en ocasiones por el tema de las capas en caso de necesitar(o dibujar encima de cositas 3D y hasta ahí puedo leer :P).

En cuanto al estilo, eso depende de cada cual. A mi personalmente se me hace complicado el estilo KoF, pero el CvS se me queda corto, no tengo término medio(añado detalles de más, brillos que ese estilo no posee, etc). De todas maneras, mi consejo es: EXPERIMENTA. Haz cuantos sprites necesites, mira tutoriales de distintos autores, empieza por algo relativamente sencillo(un pocket de kof, por ejemplo), estudia el estilo que quieras y...lánzate. Los primeros sprites que hagas no te saldrán del todo bien, pero poco a poco irás logrando tu objetivo. ¡ANIMO!

Podrias usar GraphicsGale, q es gratis, aunq si son sprites estaticos no es muy diferente hacerlos en un programa como Aseprite o MSPaint.
Para animar los programas con timeline, onionskin, y layers te facilitan muchas cosas, pero hay gente terca como yo que hacia animaciones "decentes" en MSPaint.

Y el estilo depende de cual entendes y se te da mejor, como dice Felo es probando y sobre todo practicando.
