I need to take a brake for 2 weeks due to college. My plan is to finish all the movement animation in late March, then another break in April and I should finish the basic attacking, bloking, etc animations up yo August.

Very likely the last face, hair and accessories design changes. Next steps are just animation and no more fiddling around.

Now that, that's beautiful. Very excited to see where we go from here.

She is so desolate...

- Fiddled with the hair based on what I did before you posted that last sprite. It should be very much tweakable to what you have now.
- Also sunk the front bangs down to keep the hairline consistent
- Looking at characters like Mai and Yuri, even when facing completely forward, the eye gap never seems to exceed 2 pixels wide. Nevermind I'm dumb, Mai's eye gaps do go to 3 pixels wide. Darned ol' me.
- Still not entirely sold on the face, but I don't think I've seen any sprites where any of the CvS2 females pull a worried expression like this, especially not from a more forward angle.
- About the arm, doing the motion myself, I can't seem to do it without my forearm lifting as my fingers push it up, so I conveyed that. Do note that Variable Geo animation is kinda flawed and probably shouldn't be followed quite to a T. Follow your own judgement!

Not sure who this character is, but I have noticed the dedication you have shown regarding this project.

Quite admirable. Please, keep up the good work.  :bjugoi:

I've been playing the Advanced Variable geo 1 and 2 lattly to understand the character gameplay. the thing is V.G.1 has some animations that V.G.2 does not and vice-versa, but I only have the sprites of V.G.2. Does anyone knows how to extract those sprites from the game? it is a PS1 game.

This image shows one of the animations lacking in the sequel:
