Char Test Not Working

I've been following a guys tutorial and when it gets to the point where it says to test I try and it says

ERROR:Need at least 1 command
ERROR:loading chars/ffchartest/ffchartest.def
ERROR:loading p1

I'm using Fighter Factory
what do I need to do

You didn't put any command in the CMD file of the character. You're better off using KFM as a base, at least for the CMD.

Did you refer to the .cmd in the .def file ?
"Not working" is not going to let us guess what the problem is, and we won't be able to help. Tell us what it does. Does it do the same thing ?

Maybe because in a state all you put was the state itself

You need to add atleast one thing to happen, for eg a Changestate, if you want it to be like sum taunt

The error given has nothing to do with that... Also that's false.

To me that says you have taken fighter factory, added some sprites and clicked the test button.

I imagine you're missing a LOT. Take KFM, save him as something else, delete the sff file and make a new one, then tell us what happens.
