Hello here are tiranojor presents kof 96' 26th anniversary mugen edition.
Kof 96 is my favourite kof for many reasons. Is the first kof with modern style sprites, has one of the best bgm ever, the gameplay with rolls and power charge a mix beetween advance and extra modes that i use these sistem in my games, etc.

This time the spark and sound effects are the same of the original game, i like very much the kof 96 style. Previously i used the kof xi stile because i disliked a bit the style of the old kofs.
I used the screenpack made by orochi kof97 and adapted to 1.0 by gui0007. I made some changes: added the voice of the original narrator, fixed some disagglined bars in team play, the hud is more close to the edge, modifications on the character screen, etc
Thanks to Charles2011 and tatsu for the amazing stages they did.

The game is not moleboxed so you can change the stages, sounds, etc. If you preffer you can put the originals stages and soundtracks. I warn you that the code is a mess and all characters need common.cns of the game because it are modified. To put the characters on your project maybe they must be adapted.

New features:
guard crush debut ... dont work exactly like original game but i hope improve it
counter improvement, now it has explod, you can juggle y and all characters has bonus power

has all the features of previous releases:

standardized characters
power charge
counter, now improved
dm, sdm y hsdm
super cancel y dream cancels
stun

Whats left:

Endings
proper logo
intro
bigger portrait s in character select screen

Hello everybody!!! I am glad to share mi project and to return to the wolrd of MUGEN.
I came back after a long time. For many reasons i was disconect of MUGEN but now i am back. During the quarantine I decided to resume some projects, I do a kof 94 20th anniversary previously and i proudly present and update of that.

After a lot of work i was able to find the files and upload this game. My idea is to modernize the classic kof with all the things of modern kof.
This new version, based on the kof 95, has all the good things from the previous one and much more. Characters, movements, stages, music, always respecting the gameplay of the true kof, without unbalanced characters, and making all the characters share the same sounds and effects to achieve a game as homogeneous as possible.
The code was reviewed character by character and the damage was balanced and even the commands are optimized for keyboard.

In this new version you will find:

· 30 characters (26 from the original game, the sports team and geese howard as guest).
· 10 stages.
· New movements.
· Dizzy, counter flash and power charge.
· 10 BGM of the original kof in arranged version.
· Supers, Ultras and Hidden Ultras in all the characters.
· Super and Dream cancels.


I moleboxed the game this time but i am thinking in a open source version, the problem is that I have the files in my parents' house and I can't go there because of the quarantine.
I know there are so much work to do and I am excited and anxious about it (some characters dont have flash during DM, takuma fly in some states, etc)

That athena looks like its 3D version. It even has the detail of the crossed legs.
