Hi community,
I've been wondering for so long if it is possible to rearrange the order of the animations of a character in Fighter Factory or anything. I dont mean the number each animation has, but the order in which they are displayed on the Animation tab. The first animation is usually the number 0, the standing one, but in some characters there are some previous ones, (that I do not want to delete). It is only for the purpose of order and tidiness.

Do you know a way to rearrange them by their number in ascending order?

What does the character's MUGEN version say in the .def?

I've tried with both Mugenversion = 1.1 and Mugenversion = 1.0     I get the same error.
It's related to my characters sharing a .cns file. I know this because if I delete the line "st4 = ../../Data/Mugen States.cns" on .Def (being that line the shared .cns), it works. However, I works anyway on Fighter factory 3.

Try to have two characters sharing a .cns file, I bet you will get the same error. I know nobody makes characters share .cns files but it is a really good way to make the build lighter, since all characters use a same group of sprites.

Thanks for sharing your creation VirtualTek. I'd like to report a "situation". I don't know if it is the program's fault or mine, but here it goes.
I get the following error, which doesn't occur on FF3.

Error in ../../Data/Mugen States.cns:0
Character mugenversion is older than this version of M.U.G.E.N.
Error loading chars/ffs_0/ffs_0.def

I have a file shared among all characters; "Mugen States.cns", and my character has "mugenversion = 1.0" under [Info]

Thats really strange, why does it only happen in this FF version ? Any help? Please.

But I will say, the auto-hitboxes would be a blessing if you could control How Many hitboxes are used.
If you could define it as 2, 3, 4, or 5, It'd make editing those boxes soooo much faster. You'd only have to pull one or two corners a frame.


Absolutely agreed. I hope they include this option.

I had a look at your link, and it helped though Im still not sure.

My guess is; When you get it by a Standing or Air attack, you get half that damage back in life.

Hello friends.
I have tried but its just too complicated for me, im still learning. Could you please explain this to me ?

[State -3, LifeAdd]
type = LifeAdd
trigger1 = (GetHitVar(GroundType) = 1) || (GetHitVar(AirType) = 1)
value = Ceil(GetHitVar(Damage) * .5)

I dont get it. I guess it adds life when you get hit, but is it half the damage you get, thats returned to you in life ? Its confusing for me. Also, that (Groundtype), will it modify the var by 1, 2 or 3 ?

Is there any possibility I can add another state tab to the Fight file ?   I want to leave the common1.cns untouched and add a St1 with -2 and -3 parameters.

Interesting. But i cant get -2 lines to work there. For instance, create a random helper if I write it into the common1.cns

Is the common1.cns neglected if the characters has    stcommon = AndyXIIIcommon1.cns   ?

I am wondering if I can use constant files in the definitions of the Fight.def file of MUGEN.  That is, to create some parameters that are automatically shared among all my characters.
If there is a way to do that, or something similar, can you tell me ?

Sorry if this thread is old but... Would someone happen to have this version with english sounds only?
this one contains both japanese and english, and it weights a lot because of that. Im really concerned about MUGEN weight.
