I'm new to 1.1 and I'm facing some strange issues with widescreen stages. Some stages will work just fine, but a good number of them will either cut off the edges or look like this:



I've tried to do some digging on Google but all I can find is a recommendation to set the Stagefit parameter on mugen.cfg to 0... but there is no such parameter on mugen.cfg! At least not in the screenpack I'm using.

Sounds nice, though I always imagined that the grappler would be a bigger guy like Nappa or Andriod 16.

I like DivineWolf's Athena better than Hero's, but DW's AI just sort of stands there doing nothing, occasionally blocking and throwing a punch or two. Anyone got a patch?

I might (will) expand it in the future, but for now I'm pleased with my main build. Initially it was just a CvS build, but it's taken on a life of its own. For now I'm just thinking of ways of making it a little easier on the eyes. Any ideas?

IIRC that option was in the config file?
There's only a setting to remove the 4-button inputs, not the 3-button ones.

I'm having trouble with P.o.T.S.'s Catwalk bonus stage; it's not registering my inputs for the 3-button notes.



I know there's a setting to turn 4-button notes into 3-button notes because of keyboard limitations, and I do have that turned on. However, it's still not even taking my inputs for these. Any ideas for what could be causing this?

I have what is probably the exact same problem, made a thread about it a couple weeks ago. What's weird is that the problem is much less pronounced on windowed mode.

Are you using Windows 8/10? I've found that running Mugen on compatibility mode (set to Win XP SP3) results in a noticeable increase in performance. Even then, however, certain stages like Jean Bureau's Vietnam and Jungle stages remain a lost cause.

I' making my own palettes for Dragon Claw and figured I'd change not only the colors of his body, but also his effects. The light trails from when he swings his blades were pretty straightforward, just switch the relevant hues from orange to blue.



However, there are plenty of effects with individual color palettes. Is there any way to change the colors of these effects for just the one specific character palette I'm working on?



(Also, is there a quick way of shifting the hues of multiple colors at once? That would greatly speed up the process of making new palettes).

UPDATE: While not entirely fixed, I set mugen.exe to run under compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3) and it saw a significant improvement in performance. Some stages still stutter but overall the game is running much better now.

I never thought about this, but it may just be Windows 8 after all.

I'm running Mugen 1.0.

If it matters, it's a laptop with 8GB RAM, a Core i7, and integrated graphics. At first I thought it may be that last part that's causing the trouble, though I doubt my specs have much to do with it since I can run things like Dolphin just fine (and again, it only happens when mugen is in fullscreen).

The game is set to 640x480, default desktop res is 1366x768.
