Unfortunately I have no skill that could be helpful but I was hoping to see an armored Vegeta for a while, so this is an awesome news! Plus we'll get a SSJ Vegeta different from the Majin one, awesome! Thank you so much guys!!!!
Re: MKP Season 2.5 -Ultimate Update- (V3 Released!)
First of all, your game is wonderful! But I have a tiny problem. I configured the sounds to mk3 style, but the announcer voice when I win is not the mk3/mkt one. I see that there is a WinsMKT file in each character folder, how do I use it? What do I need to do to have it this way? In the version 3 release, the "winner voice" was the mk3/mkt one. Thanks! I'm so close to have my dream Mortal Kombat Game!
I've noticed something. Some characters, for instance Liu Kang, are missing Stage Fatality in their movelist. I've noticed the same in your MKP release. Is the stage fatality the fatality number 3?
Thanks!
Re: Mortal Kombat II MUGEN: ShinSmoke's Edition Updated (6/19/17)
I was wondering if we could fight against characters in Goro's Lair other than these 3 "secret characters". I think that the original MK2 game uses this stage only when we fight against them, and I find it cool to keep it that way. For Liu Kang, I was indeed referring to his movelist.
Thanks for the answer!
Re: Mortal Kombat II MUGEN, with MKP S2.5 stuff (original by Juano16)
A few questions: -How could I modify the select screen so that Jade, Smoke and Noob Saibot would replace Ermac ans Rain as secret characters. -Do you think that it would be possible to have original MK2 battleplan instead of the current one? -Is it possible to fight in Goro's Lair only against Jade, Smoke and Noob Saibot? -Liu Kang's stage fatality combination of moves is missing in the menu.
Thanks!
Re: Mortal Kombat II MUGEN, with MKP S2.5 stuff (original by Juano16)
Great game! But can you post the first version like in the first post? I'm not really a fan of Hornbuckle and I wanted to play with the original MK2 battleplan. Thanks!
A small question to keep me interested by this game until a potential steam release: is VS CPU an arcade mode under a different name? I mean, do you fight like 8 fighters who are more and more difficult to beat or is it just one fight at a time?
Oh by the way, speaking of Urien: it's supposed to be the last DLC character, isn't it? Do you think we'll get a proper Arcade Mode after that? I'm mainly a solo gamer, and the solo modes in this game are quickly boring. Since they announced they were seriously thinking about an arcade mode back in february, maybe it will be released soon? I really think they underestimated the number of solo players, or the popularity of solo content. They definitely released the game too soon.
On the topic of a PC relase: according to Oda, having KOF games on Steam really helped SNK, financially I mean. So I was surprised with the no Steam release. But maybe the deal with Sony allowed them to make the game they really wanted. And think about it: the game cover has PS4 console exclusive on it. I really hope it's a hint of a future PC release.
Well, unlocking costumes, for instance, is rewarding. Same with unlocking characters. But unlocking colors always appeared to me as a boring way to add lifespan into a game. By the way, where does this trend come from? SFIV was the first game I saw this, but I may be wrong.
Am I the only one who miss the good old days when you just had to press a button to have different colors for the characters? Of course, you can unlock them for free, but come on, paying for that, you know, with something called money?
I'm really disappointed by the "no plans for PC version". Maybe it's just PR related to the PS4 exclusivity. But since I'm pretty sure that DLC will show up eventually, I think I prefer to see an all-in-one PC version being released in a year or so just like KOF XIII. In the meantime, I can totally wait playing 98 UM, 2002 UM and KOFE.
