The idea is to post in here what character you would like for me to code and explain why. Of course, I will not code a character I don't want to code, nor I'll code a character that doesn't have the necessary resources (sprites) to be made properly. In this sense, I would like to narrow down the possibilities by limiting your decision to 6 games: CvS2, CFJ, Vampire Savior 2, Samurai Shodown V Special, King of Fighters XI, and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. I will decline some propositions in advance: Todoh, Donovan and Chang (this last one because I'm not sure there's enough sprites to give him all he needs back),

Actually, i remember seeing this one solo Chang by Falcon Rapper which used CVS style sprites by...
I want to say Dampir, but i'm not entirely sure.
But i remember the sprite sheet having most, if not all of his KOF attacks.


Dampir & FR also did Choi if you want to take a look at that sprite sheet, as well,
in case you would like to do him solo or has him as a striker for Chang like in CVS2.
I think Choi has most, if not all of his KOF attacks, too.

Now in terms of what character i could recommend you could do next...
...Nothing really springs to mind for me, honestly. I'll have to give it some thought.

Nice job on jin are planning to update Infinites and R@ce older characters like Ralf and Yamazaki because they could use it.
Ralf might have a chance. Yamazaki isn't really necessary due to Knuckles' version existing unless you want an updated Infinite styled version.

Hm... Both Infinite's Ralf & R@CE's/Knuckles's Yamazaki have Custom Combo, right?
You could do versions of the two that adds/replaces it with DivineWolf's Max Mode,
or even Sennou-Room's Rage Explosion system that he added to his 3-Button characters.

I'm not sure about the level 3 still doing the laser even after the kicks miss, though.
At least going by what i saw in the video.

I think this is only POTS ver of Shaq  in mugen so far. Also quick question are you going to redone/update some of your older characters like Sakuya and Sagat

But Saltyy's characters aren't POTS style, though. they're CVS2.

Dronk found this issue with Iori.
He can keep air throwing the opponent over & over again as long as he can jump up & catch them.

In all seriousness, i'm not really too fond of Custom Combo as a mechanic.
It just doesn't really appeal to me, as it seems a bit too spammy for my tastes.
I always liked stuff like Max Mode a lot more, so that's what i think i'll stick with for right now.

This sounds pretty good I'll definitely be giving him a shot, if you are looking for suggestions since I saw you were a while back above, I'd like to see your edits on Koldskools characters, he's got some characters that I do think have some potential like Zabel, Ironman, Spiderman or Angel. Anyhow I'll be trying out this Geese, looking forward to playing the finished version, good luck on this project!

Hm... I don't really play a whole lot of those characters, but i could probably see what i can do.

By the way, everyone, i am still chipping away at Geese, i've just sort been going at my own pace with it.
I've been using DivineWolf's Kung Fu Man as a template for system changes & other stuff i'd like to do.
I might end up releasing another beta soon. I do need to replace the one that's in my OneDrive,
since it's pretty outdated. I'll probably share some of my proposed system changes fairly soon-ish.

Regular Geese is finished. All I need is Nightmare Geese and he is finished. Here is just a showcase of his moves and AI.

Ah, Violent Ken seems pretty good so far.
Though i did find a glitch where if Gui Santos's edit of POTS's Geese manages to counter the Bison super,
Bison turns into a clone of Ken, but Ken himself doesn't go into the counter damage state.
Other than that, seems pretty good.

Did you re-download Kyo? It might be not up to date or something.

I believe it's the most recent version, but i'll try re-downloading and see if the states change.
Which hits for Yamazaki's Freak-Out Fist is better?

I'd personally say 2003 would be better.
The 2002 one does look more like an aggressive "level 3" type move with the extra hits,
But i think having it do less hits like 2003 would be better for balancing & damage scaling purposes.

I'm having this odd issue with Iori's EX/XIV mode when trying to use Jmorphman's Kyo against him:

"Error message: State machine stuck in loop (stopped after 2500 loops): 197 for Kyo Kusanagi
Check your states for infinite ChangeState loops."

The normal & Orochi modes work fine, so i'm not really sure what's going on.

Currently he's on hold, but I'm working on my own version of Ken Masters. Currently I need these 3 kicks in CvS style.



There's not much of him that's worth showing. I just got the basic movement done. I guess I'll show it to you anyway just because.

A hint: Akuma and Ryu edits by MWRYLY have needed crouching kicks to you. Maybe, with proper editing, you can get Ken outta them?

Can't help you with jumping one though, but I think you don't even need it, CvS one copies it well enough.

Actually, i think NDSSilva's Smash Bros style Ryu has a jumping kick like that as his dash attack.
That could be used as a good base for a Ken version.
