The Meteor Break has an issue where characters without a crumple animation will freeze when they get hit. I knew about this prior, but Dissidia uploaded a video demonstrating this.

Any better suggestions on how to colllision to this? cause its going to be far worse once i get to the medium and strong variants of repulsor blast.

These are how the collisions looked in Marvel Super Heroes (from a Mame-RR collision box viewer):

I feel you could do something like this, but I also feel like it could depend on where you have the collisions of the blasts coming from. (Are they coming from the blast helpers themselves or Iron Man?)

I have a question. How do i get the missiles to explode upon making contact with the ground?

I'd say to use a ChangeState when the Y position is equal to or below zero, from at least some experience.

That's cool, the one thing I noticed in those Mvc2 portraits though is that usually the sketch lines are most visible in the shadows, and everywhere else not so much

I'm glad you noticed it. Before you made the improved lines for the template, I decided to update Kiteman with less sketchline opacity.

I also made a Modern Ryu portrait using the sketchline method I did to update Kiteman.
