It's the first stage from the unreleased SNES game "Socks the Cat Rocks the Hill".
I went pretty hard on this one, but I was originally going to include like every possible element combination...but that would've probably resulted in a already big stage being like 4 times this size so I had to scale back.
I was asked to upgrade a static image from Link: The Faces of Evil. Instead of doing that I just redraw it, added some deltas, made a new parallax floor and animated the clouds.
So a creator named thebestmlTBM made 2 Super Smash Land Stages. I upgraded those 2 by making brand new parallax floors that didnt look like you were standing on a flat wall and the added the missing animations from the source game back in. Afterwards I decided to make the other 9 missing stages from the game myself so the complete set would be available for Mugen and I wanted to wait until the complete set was done before making this thread for them. So here they are. All 11 Super Smash Land stages.
Underground. Originally by thebestmlTBM. Made a new floor and added in the missing moving platforms.
Saffron City. Originally by thebesttmlTBM. Made a new floor and added in the Pokemon cameos coming out of the Silph building and the missing propeller platform.
The next 9 are wholly by me even if the composition is somewhat based on thebestmlTBM's standing on a floor with the stage in the background aesthetic.
Welcome newcomer, dont take this as me trying to shut you down, but I definitely noticed a lot of issues. If you want I can help you out/give you constructive criticism and show you how to avoid certain mistakes in the future.
Re: City of Broken Dreams by Hatter and Vegaz (1.1/OpenGl Only)
I couldnt really tell what I was looking at in that youtube preview from a couple weeks back, but yeah this is pretty nice.
I tried to see if I could find any issues but didnt come up with much.
The boundhigh in the 720 version is broken (at least for me). If you use a jump dummy to jump up there there's a pretty decent chunk of exposed void. Reducing it from -330 to -166 fixed it.
The only other thing that catches my eye is the bottom TV's animation isnt a perfect loop of scrolling to the right lines, but for all I know that was a very purposeful choice.
Also dumb question. Why is the file labeled XXnameXX isnt that EXShadow's signature way of file naming?
